WB or MO- Switching from STEP to SR

I am switching from STEP to SR and wanted to know if I should keep using WB to install my mods or follow the MO guide for SR.

I've always thought WB had more to offer and was more advanced.

Any suggestions?

I have a mix of STEP, SR and SkyRe + my personal preference selection of mods - over 400 mods currently. Working pretty stable, still polishing it off.

 

Quite a few custom patches are required for SkyRe and STEP/SR to work though.

 

Ars Metallica, Destructible Bottles, Explosive Bolts are the ones that come to my mind straight away, but there are many more.

it is, however, can be used with  any installation, but user should pay more attention to compatibility issues. Only most of (if not all) SR-specific conflicts with SkyRe and ASIS resolved, with other than SR-based install additional patches can be required.

Thanks for the tips guys.

I'm back on the modding grind and have a few questions about using TES5Edit to patch stuff up.

I notice that after going through a complete patching process and double checking, there are still some nodes with orange/ brownish text but are not listed in the cleaning process for that mod.

Is this normal or should I be manually checking for these and figuring out a way of making them green?

e; Just noticed the "This guide has been frozen while a replacement is created" at the top of the SR page".

I am about 40% into the guide and wondering if I should keep going or just wait for the new version.
