Merge Plugins "OK" button greyed out.

Question

Posted (edited)

Hi guys,

First time post and complete modding noob.

I followed the STEP guide to the T and am now at the point where I have to merge the mods.

The first mod I have to merge is the "Bathing in Skyrim"

So I load Merge Plugins from within MO and I have made sure the mods are contiguous but the OK button remains greyed out.

Dunno if I did something wrong at some point.

Any help would be appreciated.

Ok So I'm back at the point where I was, Mod Merges, and I'm still getting the same thing. The "OK" button remains greyed out.

Can you please help me out here?

You need to activate the masters for the plugins.  Skyrim.esm, Update.esm, and the DLC if relevant.  They should be red at the top of the list.

On the plugin selection form?  It could be because you have too many plugins selected OR because you don't have a master selected.  Maybe you can post a screenshot?

Hi there,

Thanks for the reply.

In my frustration I started the whole STEP guide from the beginning thinking maybe I missed something or didn't do something correctly.

If i get the same problem again I shall post a screenshot.

Sigh...

It's a lot of work and now it seems that the site is down for some reason.

If your using the Standalone version I think I remember that I had to activate every single esp, load in and then select the one's I wanted to be in a merge and just do those one's, give that a try and see if that solves your issues.

Hi there,

Sorry for the delay in response.

Yes that was the problem. Figured it out after a while of tinkering. Guess I was just scared to load things that were red :P

Anyways, thanks a heap for the help. I really appreciate.

Do I need to close this thread now or something?

All good, I'm glad we figured out the issue.

You don't need to do anything, I marked my reply as solving the issue - that should do the trick for anyone coming to view the thread in the future.  :)
