Mod Organizer trying to connect to nmm.nexusmods.com

Since i started MO today, im unable to login to nexus or download any mods, it keeps telling me that nexus refused the connection:

For some reason it tries to connect to nmm.nexusmods.com but i have no idea why...

Maybe im missing something obvious so i would be happy for any help ;)

Okay nevermind, found the solution myself. it worked after i changed the NMM version on the Workarounds tab in the settings menu to 0.63.1

After creating an account here I guess I should use it at least once and say thanks for posting this. I was having the same problem the past two nights and now MO is working again. Thx.

I'm having the same issue but this is NOT working for me. Neither using 0.63.1 nor the most recent version which is 0.63.5. I have already tried rebooting MO (and my computer). My login information still works because I can log into nexus normally with my premium account just fine and download manually.

 

Everything was working for me yesterday night. What changed?

I'm having the same issue, except I can't login through MO at all, even though I'm logged in on the Nexus site. The "workaround" change had no effect.

Have this too. Can't login. Changing version do not help me. Looks like Nexus changed smth in site for recent updates of NMM. Bad, because Tannin is now in NMM team, and maybe there would be no patch for MO... Maybe, it was a bad day for me, but I think that this means that MO can be dead...

Nexus is intermittent just like is was yesterday.  I assume they are having heavy traffic due to Skyrim SP being released.  As I did yesterday, I suggest trying and trying again.

Nexus has seen an increase in traffic due to SSE and have posted information about that here which states that they might have to turn off NMM/MO downloading to enable the site itself to run at a bearable speed, which looks like it's what they have done, so bear with them and just download manually for now, it's all we can do :)

Main problem is that I can't check for updates. Manual download is not a problem. But info about update for my ~200 mods...

Yes, what that link tells you is that the server for downloading and checking mods with NMM/MO is disabled to keep the site functioning during the high activity period, this is to be expected.

OK this is confirmed. I just got this from a DNS search. Guess the folks at Nexus should have registered with someone other than NameCheap - you get what you pay for. since this has been going on for at least a week it probably isn't a minor issue.
