Sorry to sound like an idiot, but how do I do that?

I have recently downloaded F:NV again, and after installing all of my mods for the game went on to play it. The mods work fine, if not a few exclamation marks popping up on some weapon mods I've downloaded, but nothing game breaking. The only problem is that I cannot save the game. when I go to the main menu and press the save button, the game will act as if it is saving, but then when I go back onto the main menu to load that save, it does not show up. In the 'Documents/My Games/FalloutNV' folder, however, all of my saves are showing up there. I have recently upgraded to Windows 10 but the first thing I checked was my users permissions for that folder, and I have full access. My system specs are definitely good enough as I have had all of these mods before and there were no problems, just this time I cannot save. I use Nexus Mod Manager to handle my mods. If anyone has any idea what could be going wrong with my game I would be very grateful. Thank you
