Thanks for responding. I will continue to use the setting and if I encounter any issues will report them back here.

Based on some googling. I am currently using a setting of 30 for this in skyrim.ini . It reduces the incidence of dead stuff sliding down hills. Is anyone aware of any downsides in using this? Note: default value is 2.5 [Landscape] fLandFriction=30
