  1. I just removed, redownloaded, and reinstalled XP32 according to the suggested settings, then ticked the XP32 mod. Then I loaded an autosave (just after char creation) and everything was fine. 100%. Let me run the entire intro just to be 100% sure but it looks like this entire issue was caused by an error in either my initial download or my initial install. Edit: One carriage ride later... all's well and good. Thank you for your help, everyone.
  2. Confirmed XP32. Patches, generally no but specifically (FNIS) yes, due to another person's suggestion earlier in the thread. I was trying to follow the instructions and benchmark/test each section, must have forgotten a few times.
  3. Hooray for progress! I've narrowed it down to 4 possible progress mods after several hours spent activating one at a time and waiting through the entire intro until I had movement control, to rule out both the control problem and the camera problem. These are the problem mods: Cutting Room FloorFarmhouse ChimneysImmersive Citizens - AI OverhaulXP32 Maximum SkeletonNow, it's pretty clear the first three shouldn't cause anything like what I'm seeing. I'm going to do some more testing and update this thread in case anyone's interested in the culprit.
  4. Well, I didn't run it from MO, so fair enough.
  5. Uh.. does spINI not do that? It uses the Docs ones instead? Keyboard's a simple plug-and-play $10 base offering. Not really the kind of thing I expect to find issues with. Drivers... I'm running a 7770, and runs as expected in many games. ETS2 (though I'm currently having a mod crash issue with that too, as of today), KSP, Minecraft & it's many modpacks, XCOM, Deus Ex: HR, lots of older stuff. I've had no issues I can directly relate to gpu drivers. OK, so I hunted up the spINI files and the MO profiles folder, dumped them where they belong. No change. Further edit: does Skyrim Vanilla through MO running 100% fine rule out the local files served by Steam?
  6. Well, I appreciate the honesty. Still, I'd really like to play the game. :P Is there anything I can do to provide further information? A video showing the issue -- would that be at all of help?
  7. I downloaded and ran spINI. I see no change, but I do have a little more data about the wild camera movement. If I hold down my forward movement key, it'll swing wildly and then, if I keep moving forward, settle to normal behaviour, until the next time I remove my finger and press again. Backward movement is the same.
  8. Is there something in the INIs I can tweak to fix the massive vertical swings of the camera while moving, or the height issue?
  9. I would assume so. For the most part I have not touched the INI files except for explicit STEP instructions. Which ones, specifically, were you thinking of?
  10. OK. INI's c&p'd from MO's INI Editor. Skyrim.INI Skyrimprefs.INI And thanks to both Nebulous & Kelmych.
  11. I can confirm that, under a vanilla MO profile, I have none of the camera glitches and the entire sequence -- and moving to the tower after -- works 100% as expected. INIs.... I can't see a "spoiler" tag option in the post editor, or when searching the help files. As such, I have to ask you to please specify. I apologize, new here and so forth.
  12. Any help would be massively appreciated.
  13. Ok, FNIS installed including it's odd little utility. Will update after testing, which will happen as soon as the aMidianBorn Whiterun mod has d/l'ed. My connection is a bit crap, so that could take a few minutes. Update: So after life interrupted (naturally), I finally got back to testing this. FNIS has made zero difference whatsoever. My character viewpoint is still short -- even with a 1.1 tall character -- and when I am given control (at the dragon attack, of course) the camera swings wildly vertically at any attempted movement. This is really ******* weird. Anyway, I have some screenshots of the height part of the issue. Having a dual core CPU, I doubt I could get any useful footage of the wild vertical camera swinging. https://www.dropbox.com/s/vziq911m327s2m4/2016-02-01_00001.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/a2kwx4f1w1p9grr/2016-02-01_00002.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/rrqk20ypjgamfw0/2016-02-01_00012.jpg?dl=0
  14. Here's the entirety of that section: [Camera] fMouseWheelZoomSpeed=10 I don't see how the mouse wheel zoom speed could affect this? Am I wrong?
