  1. No, I haven't. I only changed DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB from 768 to 1024 according to Greg's suggestion and changed ReservedMemorySizeMb to 256. I've been playing Skyrim for many hours and there are only 2 types of CTD: the first one is when loading a saved game and the second one is the random CTD when playing the game. The latter occured only once and the former few times. I'm perfectly fine with this now. Here's skse.ini:
  2. Here's my specs: Windows 10 x64 Home CPU: Intel i7-3610QM GPU: GTX 670M 3GB RAM: 8GB Skyrim is installed in drive C: which is an SSD and I give Full Control on all folders and files inside Program Files (x86). Right now, I downloaded the ini file from https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/38649/? and copied [Memory] section from 3GB VRAM version. Then, replaced my old enblocal.ini which was set up according to the STEP guide. The new enblocal.ini looks like this: I'm playing Skyrim for about 2 hours without any CTDs when entering new cells. However, there was an CTD when I freshly started and loaded the saved game. But it was just once compared to the almost every time before I used a new ini. I can say that it's a lot stable than before and playable without frustration. I'd love for more options to make the game more stable though. Wet and Cold is disabled right now and I want some immersion and script-based mods to be installed.
  3. Here's enblocal.ini: And this is skyrim.ini. I tried a new save game without uGridstoload=7, and it still crashed. So, maybe this is not the cause. This is my setup for skyrimprefs.ini: I'm going to try a different approach, and I'd appreciate if someone tell me where I should look for.
  4. Yup, I made sure to create skse.ini in the correct path. Here's the logfile. I had to DefaultLogLocation=false and found MemoryBlocksLog.log in the Skyrim installation folder. EDIT: I changed DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=1024. CTD occurs somewhat less frequent, but the problem still remains. Here's the logfile:
  5. I've installed Memory Blocks Log and loaded the saved game, and crashed. Still, couldn't find the log you mentioned.
  6. Hi, everyone. I've had this problem for a while and tried to search and locate the issue but it still persists so I'd like some help. The issue is occasionally when entering a town, dungeon, or anyplace, the game crashes. This also happens more frequently when freshly starting the game and loading from the saved game. I followed most of STEP guide https://wiki.step-project.com/STEP:2.2.9.2 but I left out some mods which were Wet and Cold, Dynamic Distant Objects LOD and some small interface mods. I also added many mods after I completed the setup as instructed by the guide. I've tried many methods but it still crashed. The fact that I have Perkus Maximus known for taking quite some time to get the patch done made enabling and disabling mods to locate the problematic mod harder. The saved game that always crashed when loading had this papyrus log: Here is my setup and load order I want to note that the textures of Alchemy Lab, Alchemy Bowl, and Coin Purse are bugged and display some barcode texture. Maybe it has something to do with wrong STEP setup. Also, after deleting Wet and Cold and disabling Burn, Freeze, and Shock via MCM, the game crashes less frequent.
