I've just seen a comment on SMIM's Nexus page from a person claiming they experienced a similar error attempting to download through NMM.

MO is up to date. I just checked again, to be sure. I have followed the method you just mentioned, phazer11. Same result as EssArrBee's advice: None of the available installer plugins were able to handle that archive. S.T.E.P. suggests this is due to a corrupted file. However, I have attempted to download SMIM manually four times and each attempt has resulted in the same error message. Any other suggestions?

Manually downloaded SMIM, dropped into MO downloads, ran query info. This is the result:MO claimed no file of that name could be found on the nexus. I attempted to install anyhow and was given this error message: None of the available installer plugins were able to handle that archive.I'll do some digging around, but if anyone has a solution, I will be thankful.

It's possible I've missed something, but I have not been able to find a solution to my problem downloading SMIM with MO. Each attempt results in this error message: Failed to request file info from nexus: empty response.I've downloaded other mods--and have previously modded with NMM--without issue. I am stuck in my new attempt until SMIM is installed.Is it necessary to download certain mods manually or is there some problem I can resolve with guidance?Thank you for any advice.
