I merged the following plugins in to the "Requiem - Merged Patches". The two red plugins were the one's that I had to leave out as they were giving me that error upon attempting to create the merge in TES5Edit, remember? Never seen anything about them in the Requiem wiki guide, either!?!? Yep I did re-create the skyproc DSR patch yesterday which made no difference. Just tried launching default skyrim through MO, launched just fine. Then tried launching my STEP Extended which resulted in a CTD before main menu. Same thing happened for my STEP Extended + REGS build so it seems all the messing about I've been doing to get Requiem to work has now wrecked my STEP & REGS builds, which were previously working fine. I can't believe how difficult Skyrim modding is.

Hey I did merge all the patches that you told me to, except for the SCRR plugin that would not merge. Should I be moving the plugins to the top window that are still packed inside the patch central mod that I packed in to the merged patch? Are double-entries like this a problem? I have 206 plugins so still well away from the limit. I typed out a txt list of all those orange plugins then loaded them in to TES5Edit and sorted their masters. Now in wryre bash the orange mark has gone. I re-LOOTED, still no errors, but yet I still CTD. Also verifying cache required to download 1 new file... still CTD, though! This is crazy.

Hi, I ran TES5Edit loading all plugins without any problem. I then re-created my FINIS and DSR patches, but still CTD. I also loaded Wryre Bash and they're are many red plugins (more than the pic shows!). (would rebuilding the bashed patch for STEP extended be worth trying? Would it break my STEP/REGS build as MO shares the mods throughout all profiles?

Having looked back over your instructions I never understood this part... However it has now occurred to me if this is performed in LOOT load order meta rules? So you highlight the plugin, click "show conflicting" plugins then drag & drop the plugin that loads after?

Hi and many thanks for sticking in with me for this long! I actually did consider disabling those plugins before posting my previous post (I'm not totally hopeless!) but then on second thoughts realised I may need both of them, so was unsure! I then tried to locate the "1nivWICCloaks.esp" and the other 3 but could not find them. I had no idea the Requiem - STEP patch was obsolete. Disabling the obsolete Requiem STEP patch has reduced my loot errors from four to two, and these two errors belong to Inconsequential NPCs - Enhancement.esp which I can see on my plugins Windows, and when I disable it and re-loot I still get the same error. Restarting MO and re-LOOTing does not solve this. Any ideas? EDIT: Aha I have solved it. The Inconsequential NPCs - Enhancement.esp plugin was found in the Requiem - Patch Central - REGS mod, so within the right-pane in MO, I right-click > Information > Optional ESP's then moved the offending esp plugin to the top window. Now LOOT reports ) errors. Gonna try launching Skyrim now.... exciting times! EDIT2: I CTD'd before getting to the main menu, so still something wrong :(

OK leaving out the UKSP patch worked, i now have a merged patch that I named "Requiem - Merged Patch" and also performed a TES5Edit error check as per your wiki guide. I just moved the merged patch from overwrite to Patch Central, then ran loot and got 12 errors! Once again I have no idea how to proceed :confused: edit: I thought I'd already installed the STEP Requiem patch, but realised I had not, so I did so and now when I re-LOOTED the errors are down from twelve to four! I also right-click "requiem - patch central" and moved a bunch of ESP's up in to the optional box, that I guessed I do not need. Here's the errors... OK I just solved it by downloading Merge Plugins r7-hotfix from here https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37981/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D37981&pUp=1 then extracting it to my scripts folder in the TES5Edit installation directory. Then I re-did the Requiem patch merging and this time it worked more like it should. Looks like some people, like me, will need that TES5Edit plugin hotfix! I have another problem though... any ideas??

Many thanks for the concise list. TES5Edit now lets me load all the plugins without that previous error, however when I get to the "merge plugins" stage, I do not see any "Renumber Form IDs" checkbox, and clicking OK brings up this window, which does not allow me to type a name for the merged plugin...only a couple of drop-down menu's?! Any idea what I should do now?

Ok I'm pretty sure I've downloaded and installed all the required patches, however the final section of the guide Load order and changes for both STEP and SR:LE is something I have no clue how to do. I've launched B.U.M and cannot make any sense of the UI and features. I really do not know what I'm doing at all! p.s there is not Skyrim/Userlist directory, either. edit: I've just had an epiphany; I'm to use MO plugins pane to drag the load order rather than BOSS B.U.M as your guide says?
