  1. ok perfect, good to know - thank you
  2. Mhh...i was wondering about this before, but thought that i just had switched to sort by name... Mod Organizer apparently changed the priority to alphabetically on the left side of the screen when i created my new profile...that might be the problem - this will take some time, but i'll try to get it back in the way it should be edit: YES! Changing the priority of the mods on the left side of Mod Organizer back to the way it was when i first installed them, worked Is there a known reason why MO seems to change the priority to match the alphabetical order when i create a new profile?
  3. Yeah i have the SkyRe Comp Patch installed
  4. Yes..that was what i had found as well...mostly the Unofficial Dragonborn Patch was blamed if i remember correctly. The thing is...LOOT tells me everything is fine and the same mods with a lot of other mods used on an other save, did not cause the same problem
  5. Hello everyone, me again...i've recently shortened down my modlist from the full STEP Pack to a shorter version and started a new game. In this new game i'm experiencing a strange problem. So far i've had 4 Dragon Fights (Mirmulnir, Sahloknir, one random encounter and one Assault caused by Deadly Dragons) In all those fights, i've never been able to consume the dragon soul...no animation, nothing. I could loot the dragon, but it didn't turn into a skeleton or give me the soul. This caused the quests in both cases (Mirmulnir and Sahloknir) to stop from advancing and i had to use the console to get those 4 souls and to get both quests back on track. All mods i'm using that are influencing the Dragons are: Deadly Dragons, Dragon Combat Overhaul and Dragon Shout with Voice. My Loadorder is currently consisting of 139 esp/esm-files, including all Unofficial Patches, SkyRe, Climates of Tamriel and mostly realism based mods like Frostfall, Immersive NPCs and such things. Nothing that should influence the dragons as far as i know. I will provide a full list of Mods asap.
  6. i've done some further testing and so far it seems like all problems were related to vsync - i'm not sure why and how, but things are working as intended again - thx
  7. I have ENBoost installed. I just checked the enblocal.ini - EnableVSync=false SkyrimPrefs.ini shows iPresentInterval=0 If i'm not wrong, VSync should be off. I'm going to try if enabling it helps with the problems. I'm also going to take a closer look at frame rates to see if there is a connection between the frame rate and those glitches occuring. Update: I've just made a quick tour, visiting the Bannered Mare and the Companions and was unable to reproduce any of the errors. (No more "jumping items" making noises on tables and plates, no more Poltergeists on field day [actually a quite correct description of what happened], also no more "steps in water") This has just been a very short tour, so i wouldn't say for sure that the problem is solved yet as i will need to take a closer look at the game later once i'm back from work - but so far it looks like enabling VSync could have solved the problem. I'll report back later, once I know more.
  8. I've narrowed the problem down a bit and i think that the problem is a bit different. I've noticed that the sound occurs whenever my character stumbles....which is something he is not supposed to do. Example - I am in combat, aiming with my bow and while walking to avoid fire, my character stumbles. I hear the splashing sound and my char puts his bow down and needs to draw his bow again. (just as if my char would fall an extremely short distance) - The terrain was sloping at that position, but not enough to make my character fall. (Happened inside Swindler's Den in one of the corridors) One other problem that i noticed that might be in relation with this, are some "gravity issues"...i first dismissed them as minor problems, but since i discover more and more annoying problems and as the splashing sound seems to be connected to falling small distances, this might be part of the same problem. I can't move dead bodies anymore (just a tiny bit..seems like they are too heavy) - plates, food and other items inside houses seem to "explode" from the positions where it should be [The basement of the companions looks like a mess with vases, cups and food everywhere, so does Whiterun Market] - in some rooms there is an annoying sound of items "jumping" on a table [Whiterun Tavern] - and a Dragon that landed close to me, just recently didn't only knock me off my feet but also made me fly from Whiterun into the mountains west of Rorikstead - after reloading an other attack of him (a kind of "ice geysir" coming from the ground upwards, that usually just does some damage) threw me up until i could see the peak of the Throat of the World bellow me. If anyone has any idea or experienced simillar problems before..i'm happy for every suggestion. If someone with the rights to do so could please change the title of the topic to match the full problem, i would appreciate that since i didn't find a way to do it myself. It should say something like "Gravity Issues - Falling small distances with splashing sounds and getting knocked around" edit: Just witnessed two further glitches that may be part of this problem. I had a goat standing at least 15 meters above ground and on the Whiterun Market as i was coming out of the Bannered Mare, Ysolda was hovering at a height of about 3 meters and preformed a fall animation to land on the ground once the loading screen had finished
  9. Hello everyone, i've tried to search for this problem, but i couldn't find anything so far. I've installed a clean version of Skyrim recently since i wanted to try STEP and MO and have installed STEP:Core, VEGA, VEGA Extended, some of the mods in Immersive Survival and Character Creation Overhaul. Everything is running fine apart from one minor, but annoying issue. The sounds when i walk down stairs or steep rocks/slopes sound like i would be walking in shallow water. This problem has been existing since the installation of STEP:Core, yet i didn't take too much notice at first. When i tried the Core-Pack i was able to hear this sound one or two times and thought that this might have been caused by some animal in the river at Riverwood nearby - after some hours of playing now, i know for sure that my steps are the problem as i had them in various places like the stairs down to the Whiterun Market or recently the slope north of Valtheim Towers (i climbed up there and after every jump onto rocks i heared the sound again). If anyone knows about this problem or what might cause it, i'd be greatfull for any assistance. (One thing that i though of was, that the problem could be caused by my character, a Khajiit that only gets half falling damage due to SkyRe and i'm not sure if this is handled by letting the character land on "water" everytime he falls...not sure if that is correct though)
