Thank you! That seems to have been the entire issue. I think a note about this needs to be made to the STEP guide as it mentions right-clicking on the .jar file in the data tree under SkyProc to add the executable. This is what I did, and it automatically adds the executable to the list without options to modify the cmd arguments used to run it. Seeing the note about MO users, I added the argument, but obviously to no avail. Again, thank you for your solution.

This problem is perplexing me as well. I have used all of these programs, and most of these mods before. I have followed several STEP iterations, and am quite computer literate. Despite this I can't seem to figure this out. This is why I wonder if a) the DSR patcher is still running BOSS, or b) there is a problem in the DSR patcher, c) Ancano got loose inside my computer. That or gnomes. Its gotta be the gnomes. That I am. I have no other copy of 'Bashed Patch, 0.esp' in the Skyrim/Data directory, nor any esp's besides the HD DLC. The install is fresh. There is another version of aMidianBorn_ContentAddon.esp in the optional esps section of the mod info. The mod comes with 2 versions, 1 of which is for Improved Closed Face Helmets, and the other for users without it. I am at Version 7 Update 51. I will try updating, though this seems to not be the issue; as I mentioned above, I was able to run the patcher on a test MO profile by having only XPMS, FNIS, and DSR active with a bashed patch. Something else I should mention, as STEP Core includes Improved Closed Faced helemts there is an alternate esp for aMidianBorn_ContentAddon.esp that must be used. This esp is being used, and I wonder if that could somehow be the cause of this problem which to me would make no sense. UPDATE: As a test I created a new profile with only a bashed patch, XMPS, and FNIS installed. In this instance the DSR patcher worked correctly. However, this still did not let me solve the problem. It did bring to mind a question. What is the reason the DSR patch needs to be made after the bashed patch? And is it possible to make the DSR patch first and have everything work correctly?

There are some special instructions: to add a 'delev' and a 'relev' tag to the aMidianBorn_ContentAddon.esp. I just checked in Wyre Bash, and I did add the tags. The only answers I could find on the internet pertained to modifying sorting data through BOSS User List Manager. This shouldn't be a solution as the patcher is run with the -NOBOSS argument. I tried these steps however, but couldn't actually load BOSS User List Manager as it complained about an invalid BOSS master list. I ran boss to update the master list and this did not correct the issue. As a side note, with the -NOBOSS argument the patcher still displays "Running BOSS" underneath its progress and does sit there for about the amount of time it takes to run BOSS. I wonder if the patcher is actually running BOSS or not. I have run LOOT. Just to be sure I ran LOOT again, but still the error persists.

I've been following the STEP 2.2.9 CORE setup through MO with the addition of the Dual Sheath Redux. When running the patcher for DSR it prompts an error message: spyproc.excpetions.MissingMaster: Bashed Patch, 0.esp has some missing masters: - aMidianBorn_ContentAddon.esp Please activate and try again. The problem is the esp is activated (ticked in right hand pane of MO). I have no idea why this error is showing. the patcher is set to -NOBOSS. The only thing I can see is that maybe " - aMidianBorn_ContentAddon.esp" does not match "aMidianBorn_ContentAddon.esp". However, I do not know if the " - " is part of the file name that is being looked for, or if that is part of the internal exception message being thrown and it is just not recognizing that the file is active.
