  1. Thanks EssArrBee. I totally forgot about the green bar when installing these mods and tried to install everything. I just want the Core mod for now, so I've removed all the unnecessary ones. Except that I think I may have optimized the vanilla textures already using Optimizer Textures. That won't affect anything hopefully right? Also, the first time I managed to play the intro sequence, it was quite laggy. I went into the configurator and toned down the multisampling level to 2, and now I seem to get a consistent 50-60 fps. This is at 5760x1080 mind you. Is there any way to change the FOV? The image on the outer screens are quite stretched. Thanks again!
  2. Thanks for the reply. One thing I was confused about the difference between STEP core and STEP patch, since the link in the wiki for STEP patch takes me to the STEP core Nexus page! Also, I don't belive I have the official HD texture pack downloaded yet. I'll do that right away and report back, thanks!
  3. Hi all, I'm very new to modding Skyrim, but I have finished the game without mods several times. I've been following the STEP guide in the wiki and completed upto and including 2.D. Decided to try and benchmark only to find out that the game doesn't even start! It plays the Bethesda logo video, and then CTD. I'm not sure if I've even installed the mods correctly through MO, but here's a screenshot: I'm quite unsure if I even installed the mods correctly, as the guide doesn't clarify that. The 7z/zip/rar packages downloaded from Nexus go into the Downloads folder of MO. MO will then detect them in the Downloads tab, and you double click each one to install from there. They then appear in the left pane unticked (I guess this means it hasn't been applied yet?). You then tick them, and that should turn them on? Any and all help will be appreciated. My specs are: i5 3570k 8GB RAM 7970 and 280x in crossfire 3x1080p in Eyefinity mode. Would love to play across three screens but I don't know if that's possible.
