Awesome. Thanks for the replies. I read the linked article and had another look at my settings. After a tweak the problem got better but still persisted so I had a look at my mods in MO. Working through the list and re-installing scection 2.G has solved the problem. No more grass popping in under foot. Thank you for the advice.

Hi I have followed the STEP guide as best I can but I am having a problem with Grass popping in at very close range. When I move from one grid to another the grass (Flora and some ground textures like pebbles) wont appear until I have moved some way into the new grid and then they will pop up under foot (very close range). It feels like the grass is popping up when I'm almost at the center of each grid. If I look back at the previous grid where the grass has already loaded it appears normal but cuts off in a perfectly straight line. Everything else looks so good I almost want to turn off the grass so I don't have to deal with the problem and just keep playing. I thought I should at least ask. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
