Hey everyone, I'm been trying to find out if it's possible to cast spells by using just the console and a command, might sound weird huh? But seeing as you can add and equip spells and I did find commands labeled as Cast etc there must be a way to use them without using the normal ingame use of spells etc. If you do know how please could you give me an example like e.g. player.addspell Other than asking Beth somehow I'm not sure where else this question maybe answered if possible or not.

Help: Loading screen freezes with possible CTD
Eu4orick replied to Eu4orick's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Well as of writing this I have upped my PC specs from a 940i7 to a 4770k i7. I somewhat blew up something having OCed my Bus clocks the "right" (Probably too high even though it all booted fine and seemed to keep going) way and was running stress tests for stability and it never switched back on properly after 25mins of okayness. But anyway the hanging load screens seems to have gone for the time being as the bottleneck or whatever it was is I'll say "Temporary" is gone!! :) Thanks guys for your help!! Yeah Aiyen the engine is dire at times, full of holes! I just hope Beth don't copy too much bug and engine rubbish over to Elder Scrolls Online. -
Help: Loading screen freezes with possible CTD
Eu4orick replied to Eu4orick's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Thanks for getting back to me, Let me clarify alittle more.. These freezes are pauses in the loading screens as I'm loading any save currently from activating the game. The only way I can hope to remove it is to revert to a backup copy of my game with less fluff installed or a complete fresh game. The loading screen normally looks like a 3D model of something with the tip at the bottom which pans in and out until your game is loaded. With my problem it causes it to halt about halfway through this phase of loading and just stays frozen put (Mouse cusor will appear) and usually takes almost more than a minute over the normal time it would take. I'm not sure if its a Window mode with boarderless plugin problem as the only current solution I can find is going back to full screen mode, which seems to load fine with the odd stutter in the loading screen which seems to be the norm anyway. If there is more information I can provide let me know! I've taken note about the optimizer for textures. Last resort as I like my game to kill my PC for sheer quality as I can. At the moment only my character is using extreme heavy textures, but I do not think it's that as this persists through deletion of those. I'm guessing it might be some script thing Unfortunately I'm not sure I can turn off Crossfire on my card effectively as it's a duel chip monster on one die. At the end of the day I may have to live with it as I've struggled to find -
Help: Loading screen freezes with possible CTD
Eu4orick posted a question in General Skyrim LE Support
PC specs: CPU i7 940 @2.93ghz // Ram: 12gb Corsair Dominator // SDD: Corsair 120gb // GPU: ATI HD 6990 4gb // Mod Manager Nexus Whats installed: ENB Realvision:Â https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/30936/?tab=2&navtag=%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D30936&pUp=1 Onetweak:Â https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/40706 Not sure about anything else to put for whats installed outside of the nexus manager... I am not following directly from STEP and as you can see some of these mods are not listed for STEP I'm sure, I'm purely here for some help on the matter which is next. The Problem I'm not sure of the causes this to happen is that sometimes after I've installed "A" mod my loading screens will freeze up half way through animation and my cursor hourglass will popup as if to say "Not Responding". It takes either abnormal time to enter the game from this frozen state or it will just CTD. I have many as clean as I can go save games guided from STEP without the use of HEXing them and have also used SaveCleaner too on other saves to try free up whatever it can to no avail usually. Please help if you can -
I'm not sure what I could do to fix this please help?: As far as I know I'm running a pure Vanilla with no added sugar trying to backtrack to find out if a mod was doing this. It only seems to effect fire spells, other spells act normally as far as I can tell. Dunno if one of the BSA maybe in trouble but I've turned off all the Data files within the SkyrimLauncher and still nothing to fix this yet?

Hey again guys is there one of the settings that could be adjusted to try stop this sort of shadowing from going on? https://i.imgur.com/tzvW6.jpg

I've done just that now, plain ordinary ini files with those codes you suggested and what I found under STEP tweak ini section. I'm running the game normally with these setting. I'll slowly introduce my mods in as I go and see if I get to where I was before or better B). Thankyou kindly all But still if anyone reads this now or later, fill me in on any edits I maybe able to add further into the game please :)?

Yeah 30fps on average was my goal until my headless character happened, that could happen again when I start putting all the mods back into Vanilla. I'll try find out what what was or which mod is faulty. I don't think I'll run my game past 40fps using a limiter anyway so my card doesn't start revving up the fan too much which does get loud :P.

I could delete those files easy as pie and use my Base ini's that come with Skyrim with Ultra setting's. The thing is there are alot of lines which boost the game, I've just added them from supped up versions of other peoples INI's and tryed to edit what lines are basically useless. I'm not all that well versed in this stuff and just tried what I could adding this and that till something CTD, then I would take it back out again. You or anyone else who might know there stuff when it comes to INI's tell me what's rubbish/useless/obsolete so then I can get rid of it :). Thanks for the uGrids comment I knew that one was going to mentioned sooner or later. At the moment I'm cautious in not screwing up my Saves hence I've never ever used it but thought that the Buffer codes that to go with it might help in someway?

Game seems to run all right 95% of normal. I've just come from a 12gb or more modded game for ultra realism down to a normal fresh install from last night. Game looks amazing till I ran into something odd I didn't figure out where my character went headless and left with a tuft hair where the neck and rest should of been. I dunno if it was me altering the ini files which caused it but or one of the mods conflicting with another or somehow getting corrupted. I had alook at TES5Edit but nothing seemed to point to anything dirty within any of the character mod's, but anyway I dunno how to use that yet and not sure I'll get into it. I was looking for people who know there INI's so I could clean any rubbish I've collected within my current edited version. Like I say game runs 95% fine Vanilla Skyrim and was 95% ok from last night. The other 5% are little things I run into like stuttering on modded version. Vanilla is currently clipping alot around water at the moment from rapid view change or water ripples. Here is what I've been able to achieve and almost running smoothly at around 10-30fps https://i.imgur.com/XkoDO.jpg https://i.imgur.com/f5LO3.jpg

Please can anyone help me with cleaning Useless lines that do not need to be in these to improve on performance if they do not do anything to increase ultra high quality etc. Also any Usefull working lines that can boost Quality even further with actual noticeable results? I'm running i7 940 2.93ghz / 12GB DDR3 / Ati Radeon 6990. SkyrimPref.ini Skyrim.ini Thanks for reading I hope you can help.
