  1. Hi Sheson, I have run command as the adminsitrator then typed cd - and the directory to Texconvx64.exe in " " (I think to tell it to look in that folder) then I tried start "Texconvx64.exe" and it opened a new cmd window but didn;t do anything else. I'm sorry if this is really basic stuff - but how do I get it to run the file exactly becuase I'm getting really quite confused at why it doesn't seem to work.
  2. Screenshot from the command prompt. Directory Name invalid. That's new one on me. https://ufile.io/6rsmriqm
  3. Hi sheson, thanks for getting back to me so fast. I canot brain today - what do you mean run Texconvx64 from a command prompt? I press Windows+R to get the command window - then what? If drag the file into the command window it gives the right directory but hitting return does nothing. so Feel like I'm mising something, really stupidly obvious, still.
  4. Skyrim .EXE folder Skyrim Se version: 1.6.1170 skse64_1_6_1170.dll Games Folder (above SteamApps > Common Skyrim Special Edition) DyndoLod version: DynDOLOD 3.00-68518-Alpha-119-1678452757 contains: 7z.dll, 7z64.dll TEXGEN Output DynDOLOD Output dynDOLOD.Exe TexGen.EXE DynDOLOD > edit Scripts > Texconvx64.exe Version 1.0.0.0 In SKSE folder: DynDOLOD.DDL is version 3.024.1130 In Vortex: Papyrus Scripts "PapyrusUtil AE SE - Scripting Utility Functions" Version4.6 Now I can see the error starting in the bug report it seems to imply there should be a DynDOLOD.ESP. or that the .dll and Papyrus utilites and somehow unaligned. Though what the "correct" arrangement should be, I am this point quite flummoxed.
  5. Using Vortex, closing in on a final load order for Skyrim AE thought I'd test dydolod 3.00 Ran Texgen just fine - outputed to the Texgen output folder and zipped it. Then I ran dydndolod from within Vortex and got that error message. Searched this forum for FFFFFFFF and got no hits. So I did the usual: I updated VC redist 64, just in case, and tried replacing Texconvx64.exe, (then put it back when I saw Dyndolod has it's own specific TexconVx64) deactivated the most recent Bashed Patch. Convinced I had done and put back everything right I ran it again - and got exactly the same error . "FFFFFFFF" - both the unlisted error code and the sound that escaped my thin lips. Copy message to clipboard reads in full: -------------------------- [Window Title] DynDOLOD [Main Instruction] Executing Texconvx64.exe returned error code FFFFFFFF. [Content] "T:\Games\DynDOLOD 3.00\DynDOLOD\Edit Scripts\Texconvx64.exe" Click on this link for additional explanations and help for this message For qualified help and advice or to report a problem make a post on the official DynDOLOD support forum. [Exit DynDOLOD] [Footer] Online Help | Support Forum | Copy message to clipboard ------------------------------ I am not sure what now to do next. As I am not at all certain why Texconvx64.exe is failing or what error code FFFFFFFF means. Can anyone please enlighten me? Thanks!
