Of course the answer was in the FAQ, thanks for taking the time to point that out.

I just created a new worldspace populated only with trees to test the huge variety available on Nexus, and after activating billboards generated with TexGen and firing up DynDOLOD, my custom worldspace is not appearing in the list of worldspaces, yet all the worldspaces for all other loaded mods appear. What could be the cause of this? Not sure it's of use, but here's the worldspace record from xEdit:
