Thank you thank you! It was Acronis. Not truly an antivir but it does get cranky if a program creates/deletes files too quickly. It normally asks if it should trust a program but for some reason it chose NOT to even ask about TexGen. Thanks again for the very fast response!

I know I must have done something wrong but I don't see it. I am trying to run TexGen 64 throu MO2 with the -sse command line var. I start to get output but at the 16 sec mark I stop getting output and windows says it is not responding and it has 0% cpu usage. I have left it alone for 45 min but no change. The output on the screen is: Processing 3 C:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Tools\DynDOLOD\Edit Scripts\DynDOLOD\DynDOLOD_SSE_TexGen_noalpha_skyrimesm.txt . . . Combining 1 textures into textures\architecture\highrothgar\hhwin02noalpha_g.dds What can I do to help debug this issue? Thanks, BJ
