So I used an older save, returned to Wolfskull cave and everything was fine. The only thing I can think of was a corrupt save. I read that turning off all auto saves and using just manual saves reduces the possibility of corruption. I'll post back if it happens again. Thanks for the reply.

Disabled it and my character still sheaths the current weapon in hand. When that happens I cannot interact with anything or anyone, i.e. searching, talking... This is really annoying. I'm going to try an older save, head into Wolfskull cave and see what happens. Maybe it was a corrupt save.

I'll try disabling that and see what happens.

I entered Wolfskull cave and after a few fights, my weapons started sheathing themselves and it won't allow me to re-equip them. Â I've tried reloading previous saves, leaving Wolfskull cave and dropping my weapons. Â If I drop my weapon, it won't even let me pick it back up. Â I can't use any power or spell either. It's as if my mouse buttons don't work, although they work in the menu options. Â This really sucks because I can't play at all when this happens. Â Suggestions?

I have a save right before placing the beacon. I would try and load it over and over trying different things such as not skipping the dialogue, or running away from Meridia in the sky before falling. Nothing has worked yet. Guess I'll try a few more things and report back.

After talking with Meridia in the sky and we begin our decent, as usual the screen starts to turn white. But as soon as I hit the ground, the screen proceeds to stay completely white. I'm not sure what's causing this as I've done research and can't find any info specific to this particular glitch. Has anyone else experienced this using STEP 2.2?  I'd upload a pic, but I'm sure everyone here knows what a completely white screen looks like. ;)

Geez. How many little things you can overlook. The looked at the ENB choices and I installed ENBSeries v0.113. But the notes say to ONLY extract "WrapperVersion/d3d9.dll" to your root Skyrim folder. I extracted everything, so the fx files were causing the blurry screen. Helps to read everything in detail. Thanks again for all your replies.

I've tried the Shift-F12 to turn it off, but it takes the lighting and texture saturation with it. Could it be an ini. tweak that needs adjusting?

Project ENB. No dynavision. I installed STEP on a clean install so I'm not sure what's going on here. I used option C as the instructions recommend.

It seems my DoF will not focus and everything is blurry. Â If I alt-tab out and in, it focuses for a split second and goes blurry again. Â It also stays blurry with the start of a new game.Â

The most difficult troubleshooting times are always when you discover that you overlooked something so obvious. When I ran BOSS, I failed to notice: Ars Metallica - Dawnguard.esp sitting in my face. Thanks for the advice. I love this community and their work.

If it's crashing at startup that means it's an ESP issue. What mod manager are you using and are you using BOSS correctly? One other thing to try is to disable a few ESPs at a time until you can successfully start a new game and narrow it down. Remember, if you're using MO you have to add BOSS as an executable, you can't just run it normally. You also have to start SKSE through MO every time you want to play in order to start the virtualization. I'm using NMM. BOSS shouldn't be an issue if I'm using NMM should it? I'll try disabling ESPs and report back if I come across a fix. Thanks.

I've followed the instructions to a T. Â It seems everything installed flawlessly but when I load the skse loader, it still CTD. Â I'm running out of options. suggestions?

Thanks a million. I double checked my mesh folders and I had the meshes installed. I deleted them and now everything is normal. Kudos.
