Thanks for your replies guys, I really wanted to avoid reinstalling for time reasons so I got rid of a couple of mods that have a lot of scripts such as warzone, had a go with Wrye Bash, tried fixing everything up and my only stability problem seemed to be once using the forge, but this was after around 2 hours of play time and hasnt happened since. Thanks for your posts they were actually really helpful in directing me where I was going wrong, I think I've just been very lucky that I've managed to salvage this game without having to reinstall (though I fully expect future issues), so anyone reading this later on, do your homework and don't rush it like I did! Thanks again guys.

I'll be honest, the only thing I understood about that is "remove Warzones". STEP core install? I assumed thats what I did? I made the changes to the ini files as listed in the guide and then installed each of the mods to the specifications given (HQ, LQ, 1024 etc) non-STEP/STEP-extended... no idea. How does one properly run BOSS? I used BOSS gui and then followed by running BOSS through NMM. Sorry to seem ignorant, but this is really the only game I've ever modded since Morrowind, and that was a lot simpler.

Hey, I'm totally new here and tbh I think this is the first time I've ever asked advice on a forum at all, so hopefully I'm not breaking any rules XD. Basically I'm having issues with random CTDs, I scoured the forum and couldn't seem to find a fix that works for me. I've read a few things, such as 3.1 GB ram issue, mod loading orders etc, but the fact is I'm really awful at this whole troubleshooting thing. Below is my mod list, I was hoping someone might recognize a likely issue with compatibility or perhaps something I probably did wrong. I should warn you, I (somewhat foolishly I suppose) installed everything without testing as I went, I did use the STEPS guide to begin with then added a few things I have either used before or wanted to try. I really don't have the time to individually deactivate mods and wander around seeing if I CDT as I can walk around the wilderness for up to 20 minutes without having one, and I spent more time than I really should've installing the mods in the first place. I've used BOSS to organize everything, and everything that needed cleaning has been (exuding mods that require dirty edits), but as for bash tags and things like that, way over my head (even when I tried to find instructions). Oh one more thing, this is from a clean installation and a new game, only thing I did in game was configure the mods via MCM and activated Trade & Barter (I read somewhere thats buggy, or something?) I really appreciate you guys reading this, and if you need any more info I can do my best to get it! Thanks again! P.S. If you can think of any mods that would improve my game further, let me know :P P.P.S Forgot to mention, I created a character and DYNAVISION Dynamic Depth of Field was working, didn't like the character after about 5 mins, deleted the save and called it a night. Next day, made a new character but DYNAVISION (though viewable in MCM) doesn't seem to be having any effect. Not sure if info is helpful, but I haven't noticed any other issues with bugs though admittedly, I haven't really ventured far away from Helgen yet.
