  1. I've got a question about one of the mods, TK Dodge - Requiem Destiny. I've no idea what it's supposed to do. I assumed it would stop TK Dodge being used until I got the Requiem dodge perk, but I'm at level 1 and I'm able to dodge just fine. I suspect, although I've not been able to try it yet, that this means dodging will work in heavy armour too, which I understand is not supposed to be the case. I had been using this mod in the past, and it worked just fine, but the author has recently decided to take it down. :/ I rather wish I'd kept the file now. So yea, am I missing something or is the mod not working?
  2. I've found the errors now, I kept missing them trying to find them. They were hidden in the many green highlighted entries. I'm correcting the errors now, fingers crossed this fixes the issue.
  3. This is a new file. :/ I've been asked to provide screenshots of the error and the container heading, so I'll post them here in case it's useful to you too.
  4. Thank you very much. I've had a weird development. In TES5Edit, I've checked for errors and a whole bunch of stuff popped up in the messages tab, presumably the missing records from the mods I took out. However, when I go to find the records and delete them, as advised, they're not there. For example, the first record found is this: [00:00] MerchantCaravanAChest "Chest" [CONT:0007434B] [00:00] CONT \ Items \ Item \ CNTO - Item \ Item -> [10002E1F] < Error: Could not be resolved >But when I Ctrl+Click or simply try to manually find the record, it's nowhere to be seen. I'm very confused now, and I'm not sure what to do about it.
  5. Yea, I got this answer shortly after posting here: I'm very grateful for the very patient people helping me. :P If I ended up looking at making my own CR Patch, where would I go about learning to do that? I'm not completely sure what's involved.
  6. Thanks for the response. I asked over at Reddit too, which caused a bit of head scratching, but with their help I've been able to track it down to the CRPatch.esp specifically. After finding I did a bit of a poor job removing the masters for the removed mods, I was advised: So I've started looking at that, although I'm not 100% sure on what to do. I've made dummy esps for the removed mods, removed them as masters and tried clean masters, but when I did I got an assertation error. It also removed some references related to Requiem, I'm wondering what else it got rid of now... I might just have to use the mods I took out.
  7. Freaking quad post, I'm so sorry, is there a way to edit posts?! I thought it was important to mention that I can get into the game very briefly by typing coc riverwood into the console, but that just took me to a blank screen with sounds in the background, before crashing about 10 seconds or so later. Might be relevant.
  8. I'm sorry for the TRIPLE post, but I don't know how to edit posts here. It's probably staring me in the face, but I'm just not seeing it, sorry. It occurs to me that despite following a guide you may still need my modlist/load order and some other information. Modwat.ch page I've made a couple of changes, I took out the entire Collectibles, Treasure Hunts, and Puzzles section as well as Sofia and Toccata as they weren't to my tastes and added a few mods (Wyrmstooth, Helgen Reborn, Civil War Overhaul and Immersive Patrols), but otherwise stayed pretty close to the original guide. I've ensured that all patches I need are installed and everything has their masters, as far as I can tell. System specs wise, I'm on Windows 10 Insider Build 16232 (for the Dx9 fix), I have a 3.3ghz i5 processor, a GTX 980ti and 8Gb of RAM. I have Skyrim and mods installed on an SSD (I'm not seeing a giant difference when modded, to be honest). I really, really need some advice because I have no idea what's going on. The game loads just fine, although it takes a minute to do so, and when I start a new game I get the shout noise, then a page turn noise, then nothing but the music playing in the background. I thought maybe it was taking an insane amount of time to load, but leaving it overnight didn't help, it was still stuck (in fact it had crashed I think). I've been chipping away at modding my game since the summer (long story) and with problems either with me not understanding what I'm doing (I thought I did, oh how much I had to learn) or something going wrong even with guidance, I think I'm about ready to give up. Which is a shame, as this guide looks like an awesome experience and pretty much the one I was after.
  9. Hello again. Sorry for the double post. Finally got everything installed, double checked, the lot... and when I click new game I get stuck on the dragon logo. Left it for a good 5 minutes, and nothing. I'm actually gonna leave it overnight just to see if it does anything at all. I thought it might be my memory blocks but they're just fine, well below 100%. I've got the SKSE memory patch running too, at the default. I've no idea what to do.
  10. I found the problem. After trawling the internet I found this post from Ogerboss. I found (with some difficulty, I only found it because someone else posted a screenshot earlier), the missing records and copied them over, it's now moved onto the High Elf records. Fingers crossed, I've fixed the issue.
  11. Hello. I'm having trouble with one of the last steps in this guide and I'm starting to go a little batty. I'm at the step where you run the Reqtificator, and upon processing races, I get this error: Disabling the CRPatch allows the Reqtificator to run, but I get the sneaking suspicion that doing that misses the point of the Reqtificator somewhat. :P I've no idea what to do though. I can see there are conflicts in TES5Edit (I think... some areas in the DarkElfRace record are highlighted red), but I don't know what to do with this information. As far as I know I followed the instructions exactly, so I have no idea what's going on. It's taken me a few days to get to this point so I'm a little bummed out. Thank you for your time.
