  1. The problem went away after I disabled anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering in the SkyrimPrefs.ini. This is what I set: iMultiSample=0 iMaxAnisotropy=0 I tested for 10 hours with no issues whereas before I'd see the glitch roughly once an hour. I found the suggestions here: https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/3bt5nm/help_polygons_of_various_colors_are_everywhere/ https://forum.step-project.com/topic/4084-crazy-flickering-and-polygons/?do=findComment&comment=65449 They say this needs to be done when using ENB, but I'm using ENBoost without ENB effects. My guess is that either Skyrim or my graphics card has difficulty doing anti-aliasing or anisotropic filtering for objects that are already fairly detailed. My graphics card is far under its limits when this happens, so it could also be a driver issue. Anyway, this is solved. Hope it helps someone else :)
  2. I forgot to mention I'm using ENBoost without ENB effects, but I couldn't find a way to edit my original post. I've also added my enblocal.ini and enbseries.ini to the Google Drive folder.
  3. Large colored planes appear after playing the game for a while. Does anyone know what causes this? It always disappears when I quit Skyrim and start it back up. This only happens in my STEP 2.10.0 Mod Organizer profile. I've gone through the STEP guide twice trying to solve this. I have other profiles I've played for over a hundred hours that have never had this problem. I've seen it in other colors like red and blue as well. This one happened to be black. It seems to happen more frequently near mountains and more frequently when I backtrack through an area I've visited in the last few minutes. Google Drive folder has load order, mod list, inis and a screenshot of Skyrim Performance Monitor for the whole session. The video starts around the 1800 samples mark in Skyrim Performance Monitor.https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/10RB2p6ac_WT90Xfgp-_uwkZIOjNHtQac?usp=sharing https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Renketsu0/SystemSpecs
  4. Thank you! It was a returning hardware problem. My CPU fan had stopped spinning like a few weeks ago until I gave it a push. I hadn't considered this because I recently cleaned the fan, but it might also need lubrication. Or it could just be faulty. At this point I might as well get a new fan cause I've been using this one for several years. Anyway, DynDOLOD completed and I didn't use the test version or the ini settings. Thank you for your help!
  5. I'm following the STEP 2.2.9.2 guide (I was in the middle of it when 2.10 came out, and have all the old mods). TexGen runs fine. I'm following the instructions here and my entire computer freezes midway into the step that says "Setting up 10890 cells with 1086 active cells for 4276 dynamic LOD objects for DynDOLOD -T". The whole computer freezes up, can't move mouse, clock doesn't update, can't do anything. After a little while my CPU fan slows down to idle. My only option is to hard shutdown. One time I saw a couple folders in my DynDOLOD output folder, but with the latest attempt I see nothing. During my third attempt I started a 2-hour shutdown script beforehand to verify it's not just a graphical freeze. Left it over 12 hours and came back to the same screen. This is a picture of the screen: https://imgur.com/a/e0rTj Using DynDOLOD 2.26, Mod Organizer 1.3.11, Skyrim Legendary Edition, STEP Extended, Windows 10, AMD FX-8350 processor, 16 GB RAM. Here's what I tried so far: - output folder in newly created folder (outside MO) of separate HDD - output folder in the root of the same SSD that DynDOLOD.exe is on - tried setting DynDOLOD.exe's processor priority to Low - tried disabling all mods that were merged into bashed patch (first time I enabled everything except BirdsHFclean.esp) My next attempt I'm going to extract a fresh DynDOLOD Standalone, and disable the bashed patch. If that doesn't work I'm just gonna disable all but a couple mods to see if I can get different results. Any ideas?
