I feel like there should be a thread just for the guide???? Anyway, step 2D , optimized vanilla textures links to the STEP - Skyrim Total Enhancement Project, Which assumes that I have installed alot of mods that i have not gotten to yet. I assume i should just do this later but what about the optimized textures?
I guess what's confusing is that it's deleting it from my game folder, if I verify, steam will put it back, won't that mess up the MO virtual update esm? And I have a pretty good ssd so I'm not sure why it's even happening.
So in 1B, cleaning the update ecm, is there a reason not to run tes5 edit outside of MO and avoid the whole uncomfortable overwrite thing? I have a SSD but apparently it's not fast enough. Same goes for cleaning the DLCs? I'm obviously still not comfortable with overwrite management.
I am trying do it by the book but in the guide there are many ini parameters that I do not have present. Am I suppose to create those parameters? Such as camera? [Camera] Increase third-person zoom speed fMouseWheelZoomSpeed sets the transition speed when zooming in and out in third person mode. This also affects how fast the transition from first to third person occurs. fMouseWheelZoomSpeed=10 This is not in my ini file. I think i found it . Its in the MO tool, right? But seriously this seems like nit-picky BS!
