thank you, Dragonborn i can't believe i didn't even think of that :facepalm: so obvious.......

it all started by me 'installing' some mods into skyrim using MO while I still had some installed from NMM (idk if any of this is relevant) bet then I uninstalled all mods I had installed with NMM and reinstalled them only with MO because I thought that it wasn't working properly because I used NMM and MO for mods... then I tried to play skyrim but when I did no mods loaded... so I checked my load order as displayed by the skyrim launcher and NMM and I saw no mods in there so now I'm here and very confused. help me, please O' lords of the modding ps. I have a lot of "unmanaged" files from the steam workshop if that is relevant.
