  1. You're right. I apologize. It must've been something else...I'm not entirely sure but at least I have some idea on what to do in case it happens again.
  2. It seems that DynDOLOD is causing certain Dawngaurd interiors like Forebear's Holdout and the secret room underneath the moondial at Castle Volkihar (to enter the Soul Cairn). How did I figure this out? By the old fashioned trial and error. I completely deleted my Skyrim installation and reinstalled it. I reinstalled and activated all mods one by one, entering the troubled areas after installing two mods at a time. So far I have installed all 72 of the mods I have in NMM, some of which include: SMIM, SFO, Skyrim HD, Realistic Water Two, Better Dynamic Snow, and Lanterns of Skyrim. I'm able to enter these two areas now where previously the game would instantly CTD once I tried to go into them. All I have left to reinstall is DynDOLOD, but I'm 99.9% sure at this point it's the culprit of my CTD issues. I don't know why, so I'm here hoping to get some answers and some possible solutions. Here's my loadorder sorted with LOOT:
  3. Were you inside of a building when you went back and generated the LODs? Make sure that you go into the MCM and turn off DynDOLOD, go into any interior you can find, check to make sure that DynDOLOD is turned off in the MCM again, save, remove old DynDOLOD_Output, generate new one, add it in your mod manager, reload last save, then go outside. I think it should solve the majority of your problems then. If not then Sheson can tell you exactly what to do. He's a wizard.
  4. So I figured out why my NMM wouldn't install all the resource files. And i can't believe I didn't think about this sooner. I've got Skyrim installed on my SSD, which also has my Windows installation. So it's my C drive. I wasn't running NMM in admin mode. After running it in admin mode then the DynDOLOD.exe picked up all the files without me having to manually copy them over. So for the OP who started this thread in the first place: it might be worth a shot. If not then just copy them over manually.
  5. Oh you might be on to something there. I haven't touched much in my ini files apart from the settings for Verdant and for better shadows. I have not used Bethini before but I will. I'll report back :D Thank you for all the info so far! Both you and Sheson!
  6. No. I'm using the default VirtualInstall. I set the folders where my Skyrim mods are kept. I set a folder to keep install info and that's it. This is literally a new install of NMM 0.63.9 and it's not installing all of the files. During the LOD generation with DynDOLOD.exe, I didn't notice any errors. At least anything that stood out as being an error. In game it doesn't throw any errors yet I get massive pop-in and that weird thing with Lanterns of Skyrim. So right now I just went through and manually deleted all of the files after I uninstalled it from NMM. I'm going to redo it with MO and see if I have better luck
  7. NMM isn't installing all of the files. I suspect this might be why I'm having some issues in my game like really bad pop-in and bright glowing effects from the lanterns from Lanterns of Skyrim. I'll just use MO for the installation. I don't know if it could be NMM installation. It's a clean install of NMM. I'm using Windows 10 so maybe that could be a factor. As for AV I'm using Malwarebytes, but it hasn't told me anything, and the folders where NMM, the mods, and Skyrim are have been added to the exclusion list, so I have no idea.
  8. Alright I just decided to install them manually, but I've updated NMM anyway
  9. I just completely did a fresh install. I wiped everything and anything Skyrim related and DynDOLOD to make sure I'm starting from a clean a slate. I've followed GamerPoet's guide on YT to the T, and when it came to running the DynDOLOD.exe it throws the error that it can't find the Resource files, despite the related .esp files (Whiterun Exterior, Solitude Exterior, Desync Birds, etc) being enabled in NMM. I've installed the textures from Tex Gen just fine, and I've also installed the patches for Lanterns of Skyrim. I honestly can't tell you what I'm doing wrong or what's going wrong. My NMM version is 0.63.8. But could that honestly be the problem? Edit: I looked through the archive and compared it to what I have in the data folder. It seems that not all of the folders get installed when doing it with NMM. For example: Textures > Terrain > LODGen > Dawngaurd.esm Textures > lod > 3AMt, rat, ztreesand most likely more in other folders
  10. Had to make an account just for this. I had the same problem as Klapp3k. I downloaded the Resource file with NMM and installed it using that. However the DynDOLOD.exe did not detect that it was installed. The way I "fixed" this was to uninstall it with NMM and install the files manually. However this leads into another issue that I don't want to bring up in this thread.
