  1. I'm getting a Skyrim has stopped working error when opening certain shops, particularly the riverwood trader and khajiit caravans (though I suspect it may be an item, rather than the shops themselves). Any idea how to fix this?
  2. I've got it working now, great thanks to everyone (especially paul and TheChemist :P) I do have a few additional questions, however. My fps is currently rather lacking, at about 40 indoors and 25-30 outdoors, and the load times are exorbitantly long (about 30s-1m). Is there any way to cut down on this? The graphical mods and ENB are beautiful as hell, but I wouldn't mind disabling a few of the more resource-intensive ones. Thanks again to everyone involved here, you've really created a work of art. :)

  4. One other thing - the VideoMemorySizeMB detector thingy claims that I have 4064 MB of "video memory" (I assume that means VRAM) whereas my graphics card only has 2048 mb. I'm not sure if this is a bug or what, but when I change the VideoMemorySizeMB to 2048, I get a "skyrim.exe has stopped working" error message, instead of an errorless CTD. I'm also running windows 8, if that makes a difference.

I hadn't done either of those, but I activated custom memory blocks, and set the values to 64, 128, and 256, all of which resulted in crashes, as well as enabling auto detect video memory size, still crashing the same as before. at 128, the usage of the blocks was max 60% (while in the ASLAL room), and about 35% at 256. Don't know if that helps..
  7. I used the ENB organizer... but the NLA download DOES contain ESPs, which are included in the merge guide. The esp name is "Natural Lighting and Atmospherics.esp ". I'll try screwing around with the ENB settings, but I'm not sure if that'll help.
  8. Welp, I think I was wrong and those aren't the right files. Anyone know how to fix this?
  9. Alright, so, I've got everything installed to the best of my knowledge, including the NLA ENB (merged into WLSO) and (hopefully) properly set up ENB settings. I'm still getting a CTD immediately upon sleeping in the ASLAL bed. Are there any troubleshooting steps I could take at this point, that would help identify the problem?   10. Could someone please clarify how to install an ENB preset? Do I need to do anything with ENB organizer or just install the esp?
  11. Alright, so I've sorted my left pane mod-order, and got the common crash upon sleeping in the ASLAL bed, so I'm installing an ENB preset. I've opted for NLA, as I've seen it recommended, but I was wondering how exactly to install it? Do I only need the ESP? or are the rest of the files in the downloaded folder also important?

  13. Hmm... so, in my ignorance, it seems I've completely ****ed up the left pane load order. I'd assumed that the right pane mattered more, but it seems I was wrong. I just booted up, and got the vanilla start (with some enhanced textures) and defaulted to "imperial" rather than being able to choose a race, kekbugskek. Is there any way someone could post a left-pane mod order like the modlist provided in the patch central? Or is there some other way to semi-easily go through and select only the files that I absolutely need? I'd highly prefer not to have to go through the entire guide and manually deactivate/activate the 500 something left-pane mods I've got here.
  14. Alright, on the first thing. However, I selected the 3 intended ones, and only them, and it's loaded nearly everything. The left pane also simply won't move things when I click and drag. It just creates a selection box (like when you click and drag on an empty desktop). Additionally, I thought the guide meant for me to move specific thingies from specific records? like the Female Height from the dark elf record. Edit: fuuuuuck I'm dumb. Figured it out. >_<
  15. Alright, well, I'd already removed frostfall and campfire by the time you'd posted this and proceeded onwards (thanks for doing it though, I'm sure someone else will appreciate it). Now I'm at the second part of the "race adjustments" part, and I can't figure out how I'm supposed to move records around. I've managed to locate them, but I'm not sure what to do with them. Additionally, requiem for the indifferent called EVERYTHING as a master, so it loaded everything, even though the guide says to only load 3 specific plugins. Is this working as intended? Edit: One additional question - after running relinker and Dyndolod, will I have to redo my Requiem for the indifferent patch?
  16. Seems like many fewer this time around, but it's still missing Frostfall.esp, frostfall__usleep.esp, Requiem - campfire.esp, and Requiem - Frostfall.esp. Where should I put those? I know they're optionals and I could disable them, but I'd greatly prefer to have them on.
  17. If anybody could help me with those ESPs and where they could go, that'd be great. I'm hesitant to do the Reqtificator step with things scattered and in the wrong order, and kind of stuck until then.

I also haven't done the dyndolod setup in the finish line pages, as I was waiting to fix this to continue on to that. Thanks :)
  19. Alright, I've done the first option and completed all of the merges. Now, I'm having another problem. In the first step of the finish line page, I download the mod order file and put it in the correct profiles, but upon launching mod organizer, it doesn't seem to be correctly ordered. There are 181 mods, followed by dual-sheath redux, followed by a mishmash of deactivated mods, activated mods, optional mods (like frostfall) and the majority of my patches (which I believe I've named correctly). Will this cause problems? What can I do to solve this?
  20. Soo.... I got to the LECM merge in the merges guide, and I realize that I'm missing a lot of the ESPs needed for the merge. I'm 100% sure I installed them correctly, but I noticed that the guide, and some of the files were updated a day or two ago. I'm proceeding to completely re-install the mods with missing ESPs, but I'm very worried. Is this likely to be a gamebreaking change? I've put 20+ hours into getting this guide set up so far, and I really REALLY would like it to work without another 20+ hours.

I got that much, hahah. 255 limit etc etc. I have a decent understanding of how to merge now, but on the very first merge (arthville patches) I'm getting this error "Failed to merge --->++++ Arthville Patches Merged, Cannot create file "C:\Users\William\Desktop\Skyrim modding\Tools\Mod Organizer\mods\--->++++ Arthville Patches Merged\merge\Arthville Patches Merged-Copy.bat". The filename, directory name or volume label syntax is incorrect" What do I do?
  24. I'm really, really lost on merging plugins. Maybe it has something to do with my brain at 2AM, or maybe I'm missing something. So, for merging plugins, I've setup the profile and such, and now I have to put the ESPs to be merged at the bottom of the right pane, in the order that they are specified in the guide, check for errors, and merge. Can I make multiple merges with one launch of merge organizer? Does left pane order matter at all? Does it matter if, when launching from mod organizer, extra ESPs and left-pane mods are selected? Two additional question: Is choosing one of the options in the WLSO page mandatory? Or can I get by without one. Also, in the WLSO page, if I were to choose, say, option 1, should I do option 1's merge instead of the normal WLSO merge? (I noticed they have a lot of ESPs in common) Anyway, this is a lot of questions, but thanks in advance to anyone who answers them.
  25. Aight so I've got a bit of an issue. I've just finished installing all of the mods (YAY! only took me a week...), and I'm currently trying to configure Merge Plugins. In the guide, it says that I must set a path for the TESV_Papyrus_flags.flg file, which it seems to have issue with. I've found the folder, and file in question (skyrim/data/scripts/source/TESV_Papyrus_flags.flg), while browsing in explorer, but when looking for it through merge plugins it simply does not appear. Is this file important for plugin merging? And if so, how can I fix this issue?
