I just wanted to second what ZannaLion said. I remembered repeatedly seeing on Arthmoor's mod pages the warning, "DO NOT EXTRACT YOUR BSA FILES!" so when MO asked me about extracting them, I was really hesitant and ended up picking not to, even though the guide had already had me enable that. I decided to check here on the forums to see if it's really necessary to extract the BSA files/why I need to, and I found the above instructions in this thread, which differ from the current guide instructions. So I'm just wondering which is right, and if these are the right instructions, then as ZannaLion said, maybe it should be changed in the guide to prevent other new users from making the mistake of extracting these BSA files. Also if anyone could explain the reason behind extracting BSA files to me, or direct me to where I can learn more about it, I would really appreciate it :) I'm mostly content to just trust and follow a guide that has led lots of other people to a successfully modded game, but when instructions are contrary to what another hugely respected modder has said with no explanation (that I saw), I'm a little hesitant. Sorry if it's a dumb question! I've been modding skyrim for quite a while now (with varying degrees of success), but it seems there is always more to learn!
