how do I fix it? I get stuck on the main menu (just the skyrim logo and fog, no music or text) infinitely and I can't seem to find the problem

so then what might be giving me lag?

but I have had heavier load orders with complete 4k in the past and I handled them at 30 fps but now I can't even open inventory without lag

Just installed SRLE exactly as the guide told me to (except for ddsopt things) and I'm having horrible lag spikes at all times, especially when I turn my character. PC specs: 8 gb corsair vengeance nvidia gtx 760 2gb vram i5-4670 haswell z97 gaming 5 motherboard

I meant the quantity of plugins in my load order doesn't change (other than the new -merged- .esp)

When installing SRLE Pack, there is a section in which I have to merge some plugins to make my load order smaller but, after I do that the load order stays the same. I also can't check "Handle Script Fragments" in the Merge Plugins Standalone options.
