• Replaced (dropped) Realistic Tundra Moss with Tundra Moss Revised - Realistic Tundra Moss is no longer available on Nexus. Tundra Moss Revised is the author's revised version of Realistic Tundra Moss.
• Updated note on Nitpick - Mod Organizer users do not need this mod. In fact, it could conflict with MO because MO includes the Nitpick fixes within the program. It's recommended for MO users to uninstall this mod.

• Disease Descriptions - Found to be unnecessary for Core.

• Activate Fail Noise Removal - Replaced by new option in Smooth Blade Draw & Sheathe to remove sound.
• Ambient Seagulls - Adds seagull sounds where no seagulls are present. Now covered by Sounds of Skyrim.
• AOF Believable Hair - being replaced by Superior Lore-Friendly Hair
• AOF Detailed Mountains - Being replaced by Improved Vanilla Mountains HD
• AOF Farmhouses - Other texture mods have replaced this mod in STEP.
• Better Dynamic Snow - Has lighting issues at a distance, trading an error for another error.
• Birds of Skyrim - Dropped due to collision with ground birds that don't move or fly away; thus, forcing the PC to walk around them.
• HQ Skyrim Map - Being replaced my HQ Paper.
• More Village Animals - Causes too many conflicts and issues of misplaced animals, among others.
• No Stretching - The mountain mesh UV 'fixes' actually make a mess of mountain textures, trading a fix for another error.
• Pond Fish - Not consistent with vanilla. Replaced by PondFish and Salmon Replacer
• Realistic Paper - Being replaced by HQ Paper.
• Silent Skyrim - Replaced by new option in Smooth Blade Draw & Sheathe to remove sound with STEP recommended option.
• Snow & Rocks HD - Vanilla HRDLC is just as good or better in some cases. Makes snowy rocks look unrealistic.
• Unique Region Names - Causes to many conflicts without extensively patching in TES5Edit.

• Ultimate HD Fire Effects moved to Section F below Realistic Smoke & Embers

Guide Changes

Section 1.F.1 Skyrim INI

• Removed the [camera] tweaks, since they represent a play-style preference ... we may add back to the guide in the future as an optional
• Removed the [interface] book tweaks, because it was not clear that they had any effect and may have caused issues for some users.
• Removed [general] iLargeIntRefCount tweak, as it may have been causing problems for some. Until more research confirms behavior, the default settings are preferable.

Section 1.F.2 SkyrimPrefs INI

• Removed [display] ShadowmapResolution tweaks, due to high-performance requirement - this will likely be added back with more description and options later.
• Removed [display] iMaxDecalsPerFrame tweak, since it may have been causing problems for some. More research needed and more options likely will be provided later.
