Template:Yes Fixes some oversights in the vanilla game such as overly combative horses and allowing a follower to ride along with the player. (kryptopyr)
Template:No Goes much further than vanilla and adds many more features, possibly deviating too far from vanilla. (kryptopyr)
Template:Yes Most of the additions are optional and can be turned off or easily ignored (I don't remember if they start out turned off by default or not). The changes do improve functionality of horses in the game, but they don't really alter any other aspect of gameplay. Also, because all of the changes are centered on horseback riding, I don't think there is a high potential for conflict with other mods. (kryptopyr)

I'm still debating on whether I feel this one should be in Core STEP. It's such a huge improvement over the vanilla horses, and I don't think any of the mandatory changes really deviate too far from what I would consider to be vanilla-friendly enhancements. Nothing over-the-top and nothing that would break general gameplay in any way. I don't use any of the auto-looting features, horse armors, or horse inventory...but these are all easy to disable. Template:Yes Changes are all vanilla-friendly and in most cases do seem to adhere to the original intentions of the game designers that just didn't get properly implemented in the vanilla game. (kryptopyr)
This one and others that we are keeping for similar reasons really should go into Sec D - Fixes. ~z929669Talk 02:03, June 9, 2013 (MDT)
Template:Yes This is a decent 'correction' of a frequent vanilla problem ~z929669Talk 01:54, June 9, 2013 (MDT)
Template:No This mod changes four game settings. We just replaced Realistic Crime Radius in favor of changes via Wrye Bash. We should consider doing the same for these settings. (krypt)
Template:Yes I do feel some reduction in this distance is necessary. I've had to replay too many conversations due to random NPCs talking over the more-important conversation my character was trying to have. (krypt)
Template:No However, this mod only changes a single game setting. It's not worth an entire plugin slot. If we keep this change, it should be implemented via Wrye Bash. (krypt)
Template:No As far as i know, Dragonborn children are not addressed. This could break immersion ~TC
The changes should apply to Dragonborn. It was decided that a patch wasn't really necessary. As far as I'm aware, the only thing lacking is a unique inventory for Aeta (she'll simply have her normal vanilla inventory). (krypt)
Template:No Potentially unsafe for using the cloaking method, and a bit advanced mod to be in Core STEP ~TC
Template:No I recommend adding Get Snow in Core STEP (it doesn't use scripts and it's very light), and instruct to remove it if installing the Pack with W&C ~TC
