Version Recommendations - 2.3

The Conflict Resolution (CR) Patch encompasses additional modular patches to allow the optional inclusion of CACO, CCOR, TCIY, and WACCF into the build, because these mods change some core aspects of the game mechanics, albeit in a vanilla-friendly manner. Isolating CR patch records of these mods into separate patches allows them to be excluded without having to use xEdit.

Likewise, the optional patches are provided as a separate downloads on Nexus so that MO version tracking works for each independently in case of post-release updates.

REQUIRED - Install Step Patch - Conflict Resolution from Main Files. MERGE the Update File to keep the Step CR Patch up to date in terms of MO's version tracking.

To take advantage of MO version tracking, install the optional modular patches that apply into separate mods as follows (the sequence doesn't matter):

CR Patch Modular Extensions
  • Step CR Patch - CACO - Install if CACO is installed.
  • Step CR Patch - CCOR - Install if CCOR is installed.
  • Step CR Patch - TCIY - Install if TCIY is installed.
  • Step CR Patch - WACCF - Install if WACCF is installed.

NOTE: Each of the above optional CR patches requires the Step Patch - Conflict Resolution as its master.

CR Patch Combo Extensions

These 'combo' patches ensure that loot or merchandise within containers is reflective of the optional mods installed, because they modify some of the same leveled lists (and a Constructible Object) when more than one of these plugins exist in the load order. Install ONLY ONE of the following into a separate mod:

  • Step CR Patch - WACCF + CACO + CCOR - Install if WACCF, CACO, and CCOR are installed.
  • Step CR Patch - WACCF + CACO - Install if only WACCF and CACO are installed.
  • Step CR Patch - WACCF + CCOR - Install if only WACCF and CCOR are installed.
  • Install none of the above if only WACCF or CACO or CCOR is installed.

NOTE: Each of these optional 'combo' CR patches requires the the respective modular patches as masters.
