Version Recommendations - 2.3
The Conflict Resolution (CR) Patch is modular to allow the optional inclusion of CACO, CCOR, and TCIY into the build, because these mods change some core aspects of the game mechanics, albeit in a vanilla-friendly manner. Isolating CR patch records of these mods allows them to be excluded without having to use xEdit.
The Step WACCF CR patch is also modular, but it is required by several core mods in the guide, so it's optional use is not officially supported.
Likewise, the optional patches are provided as a separate downloads on Nexus so that MO version tracking works for each independently in case of post-release updates.
REQUIRED - Install Step Patch - Conflict Resolution from Main Files.
To take advantage of MO version tracking, install the optional files that apply into separate mods as follows (the sequence doesn't matter):
- Step Patch - CACO - Install if CACO is installed.
- Step Patch - CCOR - Install if CCOR is installed.
- Step Patch - TCIY - Install if TCIY is installed.
These patches ensure that loot or merchandise within containers is reflective of the optional mods installed, because they modify many of the same leveled lists when more than one of these plugins exist in the load order. Install ONLY ONE of the following:
- Step LL Patch - WACCF + CACO + CCOR - Install if both CACO and CCOR are installed.
- Step LL Patch - WACCF + CACO - Install if only CACO is installed.
- Step LL Patch - WACCF + CCOR - Install if only CCOR is installed.
- Install none of the above if neither CACO nor CCOR is installed.
