Game Tweaks
This section for small game tweaks that only a take a minute to create using one plugin instead of multiple plugins that would be provided by other mods. It is made manually to avoid permission issues for distributing it against author's wishes. This section should grow over time and will eventually be expanded into conflict resolution patching as well.
- Open FNVEdit through MO and double click FalloutNV.esm.
- In the 'FormID' text field (top left), type

and hit "Enter". - In the left pane, right click record

and select "Copy as override into..."- In the pop up, tick "<new file>" and click [OK].
- Name the new plugin, F&L Game Tweaks is recommended, then click [OK]. Click [Yes] in the next pop up as well.
- In the right pane, look for the row
DATA - Value
, then right click the number under the column for the new plugin and select "Edit". - Type
40
into the text field and click [OK].- This value is the cooldown time from the killcam showing up in game, so 40 seconds instead of the default 20 seconds. This value can adjusted to whatever is desired.
- In the left pane, expand the new plugin, then right click
Game Setting
and select "Add->GMST - Game Setting".- Click [OK] for the pop up. It is best to let FNVEdit choose the FormID number.
- In the left pane, click the new record.
- In the right pane, look for the row
EDID - Editor ID
, then right click the empty field to the right and select "Edit". It should be the only column. - In the pop up, enter
fKillCameraTime
and click [OK]. - Now find the row
DATA - Value
, then right click the number and select "Edit". The default value should be "0.0000000". - In the pop up, enter
2.5
and click [OK].- This value is the amount of time that the Killcam lasts, so 2.5 seconds instead of a default of 5 seconds. This value can be adjusted to whatever is desired.
- In the left pane, expand the new plugin, then right click
Game Setting
and select "Add->GMST - Game Setting".- Click [OK]] for the pop up. It is best to let FNVEdit choose the FormID number.
- In the left pane, click the new record.
- In the right pane, look for the row
EDID - Editor ID
, then right click the empty field to the right (under the column for the new plugin) and select "Edit". - In the pop up, enter
iMasserSize
and click [OK]. - Now find the row

, then right click the number and select "Edit". The default value should be "0". - In the pop up, enter

and click [OK].- This value actually changes the size of the Moon. This can be adjusted to a preferred value by take taking the default value of 85 and multiplying it by the percentage change that is desired. i.e. 85 x .75 = 64 for a Moon that is 75% of it's in game size
- Close FNVEdit, save the new plugin.
- The plugin now resides in the Overwrite folder.
- Right click the Overwrite folder and select "Create Mod..."
- Name the mod, "Game Tweaks" is recommended.
- Place the new mod after Armor Replacer Child NPC Fix and activate it.
