Version Recommendations - 2.4

Ignore the Update Files. The only difference is that parts 1 & 2 are bundled together in the Update Files, which further complicates installation with MO.

1. Download & install Engine Fixes - Main File Main File (select the "Anniversary Edition" option in the FOMOD).
2. Download Engine Fixes - SKSE64 Preloader Main File, but DO NOT install this using MO.
3. Instead, extract or drag/drop d3dx9_42.dll from the archive into the root Skyrim SE directory (e.g. .\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Skyrim Special Edition) (reference image)
4. While inside the root Skyrim SE directory, DELETE tbb.dll & tbbmalloc.dll if they exist (they're from an older version of this mod).

Once installed, double-click on the mod to open up the information window, and ensure the following settings in EngineFixes.toml ("Text Files" tab):

[General] bCleanSKSECosaves = true

[Patches] bRegularQuicksaves = true fSleepWaitTimeModifier = 0.3 fWaterflowSpeed = 16.0

Leave the remainder of the settings at their defaults.
