Version Recommendations - 2.2.0

1. Install (Part 1) Engine Fixes for 1.6.xxx and newer Main File in MO as normal.
2. Download (Part 2) Engine Fixes - skse64 Preloader and TBB Lib Main File.
3. Extract the contents of the Part 2 archive to the root Skyrim SE directory (e.g. ..\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Skyrim Special Edition) (reference image)

Once installed, double-click on the mod to open up the information window, and ensure the following settings in EngineFixes.toml ("Text Files" tab):

If running game version 1.6.1170:

[Patches] EnableAchievementsWithMods = false SaveAddedSoundCategories = false WaterflowAnimation = true WaterflowSpeed = 16.0

[Fixes] SaveScreenshots = false

If running game version 1.6.640:

[Patches] WaterflowAnimation = true WaterflowSpeed = 16.0

Leave the remainder of the settings at their defaults.
