STEP:Forum Structure
The biggest of these changes has been to some of the forum structure. Within the Supported Games forums is where most of these changes were made. There are reference numbers in the text below (in yellow) that correspond to the same numbers in the following image for a visual aid.
Each of the 'Mods' forums1 were placed at the top of the listing for consistency across each game forum. Additionally, the minimum tag requirement for each of these Mods forums has been changed from 0 to 2. See our Topic Tags & Prefixes article for more information about forum tags.
Next, all of the official Step GameName Guide forums2 have been brought up to the top level of each of these game forums (though most of these guides do not exist yet). These Guides are our official products, thus, they should be front and center.
The unofficial guides not associated with Step have their own forums3: Unofficial GameName Guides, which each is located just below the official forum. These unofficial guides are user-created guides that have been established by utilizing our framework.
Each of the game forums now contains a General Discussion & Support forum4. These forums are to be used for general banter around the specific games. As the name suggests, the General Support forum for each game has been moved within these forums (they've simply been combined). This is where users can find general support not associated with a specific Guide. Guide-related support is still found within each of the individual guide forum.
Each of the descriptions for these forums above were either better defined or removed. If they were removed, the reason being is the titles are descriptive enough to define the contents of the forum. In most cases, these descriptions where simply rewording the title.
Finally, a new forum has been created under Supported Tools: Step Guide Framework Please see our new documentation covering our [https://stepmodifications.org/wiki/STEP:Game_Guide_Framework framework.
