STEP install after SR install

Is it possible to use the clean/modify (and compatibility patches if necessary) from an SR install for an STEP install?

 

I’m just finishing SR install (not all mods but a majority) so I want to know if  I should reuse my old list of mods or if I can use the same (in STEP order) with modification made during SR install.

Because I have a savegame from an STEP install and I like to play again with it (and perhaps  use it in SR ? I know you don't care )
