Stoltverd Posted April 18, 2018 Posted April 18, 2018 I just bought a new PC yesterday. I'm interested in migrating my mod setup, settings, etc.Should I take special care with something or follow special instructions, or can I just copy MO's folder, Skyrim's folder, and the document's folder? Thanks in advance for any answers!
0 Mator Posted April 18, 2018 Posted April 18, 2018 Install Skyrim through steam so you get registry entries. Copying MO mods folder should be fine (I'd copy profiles folder as well). I wouldn't copy anything from the game folder(s) if you're using MO, simply reinstall ENB, SKSE and any other extensions you were using. If you have a folder with tools you probably can copy that over though.
0 GrantSP Posted April 18, 2018 Posted April 18, 2018 Copying your MO install is the best/easiest method for this. Just check that any executables you have setup are have their paths set to the same locations.
0 Stoltverd Posted April 19, 2018 Author Posted April 19, 2018 I love this community so much Many thanks! Will make the copying and report back.
