===== TTW Main and Optional =====
Grab [http://taleoftwowastelands.com/content/alpha-download-v281a the installer] and do a manual install into your MO mods folder. You may be able to have it package them as fomods and install normally, but honestly, it's just easier this way. Insert the necessary INI changes using the INI editor, then open up each of the mods and enable the necessary ESPs in the Optional ESPs window. For the main, you'll want all plugins in the available section; in optional, only make the ones you want to use available.
===== TTW Bugfixes =====
First, grab the hotfixes from the alpha download page. I just merged them into the TTW Main mod, personally.

Template:Notice

I'm trying to combine Clear & Present Danger and Fear & Loathing in a working and hopefully stable TTW install, and needed a place to put my notes. So that's what this thing is. Yup.

I'm also using this as a reference. Thanks to all you guys!

Visuals[edit | edit source]

Hall Of Equipment TTW[edit | edit source]
  • Author:
  • Version:
  • Installation: Download and install the Fallout 3 version, then download and merge in the New Vegas version.
  • Note:
PocoBueno[edit | edit source]
  • Author: Ojo Bueno
  • Installation: --
  • Note: No FO3 version of this.
NMC Texture Pack[edit | edit source]
  • Author: NeilMc_NMC
  • Installation: Follow the instructions here to clean up and combine the packs. FO3, NV.
  • Note: I went for the medium pack. I also installed the Washed Out Wasteland pack separately, so that I can turn it off when I get to the Mojave.
Textures Over Time[edit | edit source]
  • Author: DonKnotts
  • Installation: Get the FlagStoneWalls, HH_Sandstone, and Sandbags main files ONLY. Install them in any order, but for the second and third file, click [Merge], not [Replace].
  • Note: Sandstone pretty!
TTW Redesigned[edit | edit source]
  • Author: Dracomies
  • Installation: --
  • Note:
Male & Female Body/Armor[edit | edit source]

At the moment I don't actually have this installed, but when I did I followed the instructions in the FAQ.

Gameplay[edit | edit source]

Customizing for TTW[edit | edit source]

It's important to me that Tale of Two Wastelands be its own game, not just 3 and NV smooshed together. That's what these mods are for.

Concept Art Loading Screens[edit | edit source]
  • Author: Mutent
  • Installation: --
  • Note: Replaces the main menu screens with Fallout concept art. I like it because it's wasteland-agnostic, so to speak.
No Loading Screen Text[edit | edit source]
  • Author: Archanix
  • Installation: --
  • Note: Removes the loading screen tip text. I was having issues with more than one set of text showing up at once; this avoids that issue.
Radiation Loading Roulette Wheel[edit | edit source]
  • Author:
  • Installation: --
  • Note: Turns the roulette wheel into a radiation symbol.
Digital Nightmare - Music Overhaul[edit | edit source]
  • Author:
  • Installation: --
  • Note: Listening to the New Vegas music makes me think I'm in the Mojave. No good. This gives TTW its own musical score.
Delay DLC - TTW[edit | edit source]
  • Author: Gribbleshnibit8
  • Installation: --
  • Note: Requires you to be within a certain distance of the broadcast location before the DLC radio signal is picked up. On the TTW forums.

Random Cool Stuff[edit | edit source]

All the radio mods evah! I do actually have to figure out how to get these things installed.

Old World Radio[edit | edit source]
  • Author: Irikedownroading theimpaler87 and JacobWhinwright
  • Installation: --
  • Note: Adds a bunch of old radio shows! I'm such a huge fan of these things.
Conelrad 640-1240 - Civil Defense Radio[edit | edit source]
  • Author: Macabre Productions
  • Installation: --
  • Note: Cold War-era nuclear-themed music and PSAs from Civil Defense Washington.
X1 Tales Of Wonder For TTW[edit | edit source]
  • Author: Lord Xayd
  • Installation: --
  • Note: This may be repetitive, as Old World Radio also includes X-1 episodes. Dunno.

Quests & Cut Content[edit | edit source]

Cool but, of course, totally optional. Allllllll optional.
