Merging Plugins With TES5Edit and the Merge Script[edit | edit source]
Merging Plugins[edit | edit source]
- Set up the Merge Script as described below
- Make sure your Overwrite folder in Mod Organizer is empty
- The plugins you want to merge must be sorted in the order specified in the guide with no plugins in between them
- Run TES5Edit in Mod Organizer
- Right click/Select none
- Select the plugins you want to merge
- Wait for TES5Edit to load all plugins
- Select the plugins you want to merge. Right click/Check for errors
- Right click/Apply script. Select Merge Plugins v1.9. Click OK
- Check that your plugins are selected and click OK
- Choose --CREATE NEW FILE-- and click OK
- Type in the file name and click OK
- Wait for the script and batch copying to finish
- Close TES5Edit. Make sure only the new merged plugin is selected and click OK
- Right click the Overwrite in Mod Organizer and select Create Mod...
- Type in the mod name and click OK
- Sort the new merged mod directly after the original mod(s)
- Deactivate the mods that were merged. Activate the new merged mod.
Setting up the Merge Script[edit | edit source]
- Download Merge plugins script and unpack it into the TES5Edit folder
- Run TES5Edit in Mod Organizer
- Wait for TES5Edit to load all plugins
- Click the cog icon
- Set it up as follows:
I'm using Mod Organizer: Checked Mod Organizer directory: <Mod Organizer path>\ Copy general assets: Checked
Renumbering options: Renumber conflicting FormIDs Copying options: Copy intelligently Second pass copying options: No second pass
Asset destination directory: <Mod Organizer path>\overwrite\ Disable label coloring: Unchecked Extract BSAs: Unchecked Batch copy assets: Checked
- Click Save
