Install Oblivion[edit | edit source]
- Uninstall Oblivion and all traces of it.
- Install Oblivion
- If installing Steam version, just download and install
- If using the disc version:
- Install Oblivion
- Install the Shivering Isles
- Install the Official Patch
- Install the DLC
- Optionally, remove CD protection
- Edit the Security Settings of the Oblivion folder to give your user account full control.
- Run Oblivion and set up your key bindings and other settings.
- Oblivion may crash in its default state (especially upon quitting the game). This is normal and shall be fixed with mods.
