Version Recommendations - 3.1

Better Planet Generation (BPG) is an excellent mod that greatly expands the biomes and diversity of planets. In its current state, however, Step can't in good conscious continue to support the full experience the mod can provide. This is mainly due to two reasons:

1. In its current state, the full mod is actually breaking at least one, maybe more, of the game's quests. Specifically, the way the files have changed and the addition of new assets means that the quests for scanning objects can be broken. Multiple users have reported this and the author has confirmed it's an issue that may not be able to remedy.
2. The timeframe between updates is too long. The reality is that the main mod remains broken or bugged for very long periods for time. Step understands more than most the scale of the full mod is enormous and an unfathomable amount of work for a single person.

Step is beholden to our Mandates, therefore, we do not recommend the full mod for this Guide.
