NOTE that this guide is purposefully and consistently written in the third person. Why? Because this is professional best practice in that it allows the writer to be more substantive while maintaining an objective prose. It is simply more eloquent a writing style than first or second-person styles. Please edit this and other "guides" according in the third-person (i.e., avoid using the words "I" or "you").
