Quick Video Guide
First Time User Guide
A. Log onto Rizon Web IRC Client:
- In the Nickname: field:
- Please use your S.T.E.P. forum Username.
- If the Username that you use on S.T.E.P. is unavailable then add another letter/number/special characters so that other members in the chat can identify your S.T.E.P. account.
- If you prefer an alternative Username then it may be difficult for others to properly identify you.
- Please use your S.T.E.P. forum Username.
- In the Channels: field:
- At this point in time you will NOT be able to access the Unofficial STEP Chatroom because the room requires a registered Nickname, you may leave it on #Rizon for now.
- You will be able to access the channel later in this guide.
- After you are finished:
- Click [Connect]
- A dialogue box will appear and reads:
Your nick is not registered. Would you like to register it now?
- Click [Ok].

- Click [Ok].
- Another dialogue box will appear and reads:
Please enter a password for this nick.
- Enter your desired password.
- I would recommend a strong password to keep your Nickname safe.
- Please do NOT share your password to any one, even friends.
- Click [Ok].
- The last dialogue box will appear and reads:
Please enter the code sent to your email to complete the registration process.
- Leave that box open for the time being.
- Go to your email that the Nickname was linked to.
- Look for something similar to:
Please type "/msg NickServ confirm XXXXXXXXX" to complete registration.
- The "XXXXXXXXX" is going to be a unique set of characters that you need.
- Highlight the code and copy it to clipboard.
- Go back to the Rizon page that had the dialogue box still open.
- Paste the code in the dialogue box.
- Click [Ok].
- In the Nickname: field:
B. Your Nickname on Rizon is now registered and you can immediately access the room by selecting the input box at the very bottom of the page.
- Type the following:

C. Congratulations you should be in the room.
