Connecting to the [Un]Official Chatroom[edit | edit source]

Introduction[edit | edit source]

Why should people join the chat?
Why is it important to you?
Phazer11: The chat is important for me so I can get to know users better, it also allows me to help users whenever they have quick questions that are either too trivial for the forum and helps me coordinate with other users for the purposes of content creation such as textures, meshes, guide development, critiques, etc. There's also the social aspect. Normally I'd chat with one or two of my friends I met from the STEP forums at a time but this way we can all be there and even talk with other people that might not be on our lists. You could learn some interesting tidbits from other members, have chats in other languages just to see who shares another language with you and possibly even help you formulate your sentences in another language. I had an interesting conversation with Mangaclub in german one day, it was refreshing.
Hishutup: I found out that after joining and just hanging around that I was able to talk with other people that I normally wouldn't ever talk to. I was able to get people's opinions when I was writing my guide as well as help out others with their issues. The chat isn't just for talking about STEP and STEP related things but rather it about just enjoying talking with other people that have very similar interests but sometimes it can get a little crazy...
Ganda, I'm keeping my eye on you >.>
Gandaganza: Somewhere to talk to like-minded people after a day of work is just great! So come around, this is not only a place to get support but where you can also relax and have some fun :D
Right back at you Hishy <.<

  • If you type someones name then that member will receive an alert.
This is handy if you want someone's attention and or you want to talk specifically to that person.
The alert will depend on how the member has it set up and the client they are using.
