TES5Edit mod merging makes use of the ''Mod Merging TES5Edit Script'' add-on.
Mod merging makes use of the ''Merge Plugins Standalone'' application.
  Run ''TES5Edit''.
  Place the files to be merged at the bottom of the load order in the right pane then run ''Merge Plugins Standalone''.
  Select only the mod files to be merged then click [OK]. These must be sorted in the order specified which means they <b>MUST</b> be contiguous.
  On the "Select Profile" window, select "SkyrimProfile" then click [Ok].
Shift/Left-click to select the files to be merged in the left pane.
If this is the first time running the application, click the cog icon and configure as shown below then click [Ok].
  Right-click one of the files to be merged and select "Apply Script".
In the left pane of the main window, select the mod files to be merged. These must be sorted in the order specified which means they <b>MUST</b> be contiguous.
In the script drop down, select "Merge plugins vX.XX" then click [OK].
  Right-click and select ""Add To Merge">"<New Merge>" then click [OK].
  Unless otherwise stated in the guide, the advanced settings should be configured per the image below. Apply any special settings as indicated in the guide, then click [OK].
  In the "Edit Merge" window, specify the mod name and output esp file.
  When prompted with the "Select File" window, click [OK] to create a new file.
Select the "Merges" tab.
  Type the file name without extension as indicated in the guide then click [OK].
  Right click the merge that was just created and click "Check Plugins For Errors". Wait for the check to complete.
  Click the [X] in the upper right hand corner, verify "Backup plugins" is unchecked, select '''only the merge output file''' then click [OK].
  Review and correct any errors found.
  The new plugin file and all files for the related mods will be placed into the ''<Mod Organizer>/Overwrite'' directory. Right-click the "Overwrite" mod in the ''Mod Organizer'' left pane select "Create Mod".
  Right click the merge that was just error checked then click "Build Merge". Wait for the merge to complete.
Give it the name suggested in the guide or other meaningful name and drag the resulting mod to the location where the merge is in the guide '''but above any optionals not included in the merge''' then activate it.
Review and correct any errors found.
Close ''Merge Plugins Standalone''.

Mod Merging Subguide

Mod merging makes use of the Merge Plugins Standalone application.

Place the files to be merged at the bottom of the load order in the right pane then run Merge Plugins Standalone.
On the "Select Profile" window, select "SkyrimProfile" then click [Ok].
If this is the first time running the application, click the cog icon and configure as shown below then click [Ok].
In the left pane of the main window, select the mod files to be merged. These must be sorted in the order specified which means they MUST be contiguous.
Right-click and select ""Add To Merge">"<New Merge>" then click [OK].
In the "Edit Merge" window, specify the mod name and output esp file.
Select the "Merges" tab.
Right click the merge that was just created and click "Check Plugins For Errors". Wait for the check to complete.
Review and correct any errors found.

Review and correct any errors found.
Close Merge Plugins Standalone.
The new plugin file and all files for the related mods will be placed into the <Mod Organizer>/mods/<Mod Name> folder.
Refresh the Mod Organizer left pane, place the merge where indicated in the guide and activate it.
Uncheck the source mods in the left pane of Mod Organizer as they are now included in the new mod folder. However, if there are other plugin files not included the merge they must be manually copied to the new merged mod.
