This is a guide to install Steam mods for Skyrim

Mod Organizer Users

1. Subscribe to the mod(s) on Steam Workshop.
2. Open the game launcher through MO.
3. Wait until all files are downloaded.
4. Go to your MO overwrite folder.
5. Select the .bsa and .esp file of the mod(s) you subscribed to.
6. Use WinRAR, 7-zip, or a similar program to pack them into an archive.
7. Move the archive to your MO downloads folder and install the mod through MO.
8. Unsubscribe from the mod(s).
9. Do not forget to remove the .bsa and the .esp from your MO Overwrite folder.

Nexus Mod Manager Users

1. Subscribe to the mod(s) on Steam Workshop.
2. Open the game launcher normally.
3. Wait until all files are downloaded.
4. Open the Skyrim Data folder.
5. Select the .bsa and .esp file corresponding to the mod(s) you subscribed to.
6. Use WinRAR, 7-zip, or a similar program to pack them into an archive.
7. Unsubscribe from the mod(s).
8. Install the archive that you packed earlier manually or via NMM.
