Looks like Wrye Bash or even a merged patch can take care of most the problems with Yuki's Gameplay Tweaks (YGT from here on out) and FCO or most anything else. Wrye is pretty good with body part merges in my experience. Not perfect, but definitely a huge time saver. It's main reason I don't add more patches to guide in the first place. I'll still about doing a patch for non-Wrye Bash users though. Still a lot of FOMM holdouts. -

I'll talk to mono. I didn't actually change the directions for that mod, just updated the version number. I'll check that mod out or make my own patch for it since I know the author of FCO. I'll make an updated one. FCO and NVR work alright together if you delete part of the FCO plugin, but there are still a couple issues that pop up. I was working on a bigger patch, but the author of NVR was accused of stealing textures by the author of FCO. I don't know what came of it, but I don't think he wants FCO to have a dedicated patch. Well, you're awful busy scouring the nexus. That's usually my job. Thanks for the help! I'll look through these when I have some time next week. -

You can add it in Wrye Bash right before you go to do a bashed patch. Highlight the plugin, right click the little box on the left for tags and add that tag. I'll see about making a patch. I know the author of FCO so he won't have any issue with me making a patch and I doubt darth would say no either. I actually won't get around to testing that mod until tomorrow though. Why does that mod touch Rex's level? Wrye Bash doesn't combine the records? -

The directions are from older versions of that mod, so it may be different now. Plus, FNVEdit has updated a couple times since I wrote that stuff, so it may be different. The LOOT directions may be old as well. The FNV LOOT list doesn't get the attention that FO4 and Skyrim get. It's cool darth. Makes things much easier anyway since people don't have to manually download files from a different nexus. -

You remove them if you don't have the space on your SSD. That's the only reason you would do it. The drawback is having to reinstall them to do a remerge. (Especially if I add more mods to that section, like tomorrow or something) -

Technically you can remove the ones from the Cut Content merge. If you have to redo a merge then you will need to reinstall them. With the Advanced Recon Merge you still have assets in those folders and just moved the plugin to an optional folder so they don't show. That's why the merging directions say whether to Tick or Untick "Copy general assets" in Merge Plugins Standalone. Any merge with "Copy general assets" ticked are the ones where you can uninstall the mods you just merged. -

I've noticed how much more friendly the complex mods seem to be now that NVSE and some other plugins have expanded the capabilities of the game. I imagine PN was about as good as it could have been when it was made. The authors really had to hack that stuff into the game. -

That's the one I tested. The original isn't in the guide because there is a problem where you can't dismiss Betsy properly and then can't get into the DLC. It's super annoying. I probably should add back Uncut 6 too, since it had an issue with Nevada Skies and that's gone now. -

I've been wanting to add some FO3 stuff for a while, but didn't really ever test it till the last time I was playing FNV. Having all three parts won't hurt anything for now. I added that mod because it worked with darth's Book of Water mod and I had another mod that would add Enclave armors as unique items, but for the life of me, can't find out where I put the mod and can't find it on the nexus. I guess that's what happens when you step away for months and files get moved around. :confused: I had actually tested a bunch of stuff that I never added. Some Machienzo stuff, a bunch more Yuki gameplay mods, that Betsy mod, King of the Ring, and a player home. Don't know if I'll add all of it though, maybe just the Betsy mod and darth's Yuki gameplay mod since I had most that stuff tested or in the guide already. I can work on the rest later. -

It may be time for someone to make a proper holster mod. I always had good luck with the holster and I used it with the Matiba. Only the compensator would stick out, so I just took it off. I'm sure with all the fancy functions from Lutana/JIP that there has to be a way to make a custom holster mod that assigns proper holsters to whatever gun is equipped. We'd need someone to make holsters though. I'm not going to do it, but I could help with the scripting and ideas. I keep Dragonskin because it's not distributed unless you use the distribution plugin which I don't like. I was going to move it to a pack, but I never got around to testing armors. Most of Millenia's weapons wouldn't fit the aesthetic either, but we still use them. They are way too modern looking for that Rat Pack era look of the game. Assault weapons with laser sights don't really mesh that well. The fallout world would ask itself, "If we could put a laser sight on a gun, then why not just build a laser gun?" And that's what happened, so you gotta just let some stuff go. The Desert Eagle matches the over-the-top nature of the game, but it should be a different .50 cal gun, probably a revolver. I once shot a .600 revolver when I was teenager. I don't remember who made the gun, but now I think that is the perfect thing for Fallout. It hurt like hell to fire. Also, the same guy had this muzzle load gun that shot .50 cal lead balls. It was insane. That one would be perfect for the FO4 world. -

I added UP+ and removed a few mods. Pretty sure it can be added without redoing the Yuki Gameplay Merged mods section. The only problem would be if you Transpodalator thing from OWB in your inventory. -

I think I've got most mod's updated to their current versions. Maybe missed one or two but I'm not going to go through every mod page. I'll look at some new stuff this weekend to try and shorten the guide a bit. -

He has been around a little more since he made a couple FO4 guns, so maybe I'll get lucky. If he gets back to me I'll let you know. Thanks for getting back to me on that. I saw you are removing overlap with Yuki's Gameplay Tweaks and UP+. Will this be soon or is it going to be with 3.0? I doubt using the two mods together is really going to mess stuff up regardless. -

I'm thinking about getting rid of the additional Millenia's weapons merge and doing a patch that integrates the weapons into WotNM. Seems pretty simple. Just put all the other guns in the store container and update the WotNM scripts with the additional weapons. I'll need someone to test it though, since I'm not really playing FNV right now. My setup is pretty much just a few mods I'm updating in the guide. Also, gotta ask Millenia if it's cool. -
