EssArrBee's Additional Weapons

This page covers some additional weapons that have no other place. They are great mods that should get consideration from any user. This page will change over time since it is EssArrBee's personal preference. Merging instructions are included.

  • ANNOUNCEMENT: Many of these guns are places in locations that could be considered cheating, for example the The Tesla Rifle is just laying on the ground in front of the Novac Gas Station. There is now instructions for users to remove these easy to get weapons so they have to be obtained either from purchase, schematic, or slain enemy. They will be optional instructions for users that still want the weapons laying about.

  • NOTE FOR RETURNING USER: Redoing the merging of any mods will remove the items from these mods from the player character's or follower's inventories.
AK-105 Assault Rifle
  • Author: MAIBATSU
  • Version: v1.1
  • Installation: Get the AK-105 Assault Rifle main file and the AK-105 Assault Rifle TWMM optional file, when installing the optional file, click [Merge], not [Replace].

Modern AK for all the Russian gun nuts out there.

Crossbow for the Wasteland

  • Version: v2.0.1
  • Note: This mod causes a drop in framerate in GoodSprings. Deleting the Worldspace record from the plugin has been proposed as a solution, but the Worldspace record is needed for reference in the scripts. The mod cannot be merged without the Worldspace record intact.

Archery would probably be used much more throughout the Fallout universe considering all the resources needed to make ammunition.

MNK-RHINO Gauss Revolver

  • Installation: Get the MNK RHINO gauss revolver V04 main file and the V0.4 esp fix optional file. When installing the optional file, click [Merge], not [Replace].

Energy pistol with serious punch. Very nice the cowboy of the future.

Remington 700

A timeless classic.

Rifle 'Locomotive'

  • Installation: Get the Locomotive Eng ver. main file.

HINT: Check out Hidden Valley. Amazing variant of the Railway Rifle. Has a scope with nightvision, shoots rail spikes, and requires some work and caps to obtain.

Tactical Flamer Revamp

  • Requirements: NVSE
  • Installation: Get the Tactical Flamer Revamp - Base main file and the Tactical Flamer Revamp - Updated esp updates file. When installing the update file click [Merge], not [Replace].

The Prodigy approves the use of this gun anytime, anywhere.

TAR-3 Tesla Assault Rifle
  • Author: Ruadhan2300
  • Version: v1.2
  • Installation: Get the Tar3MainFile and the Patchfile 01 and Patchfile 02 updates files. Follow these instructions:
During the install of the main file, expand 'TAR3' and right click 'Data' then select "Set data directory".
Install the Patchfile 01, click [Merge], not [Replace].
Install the Patchfile 02, click [Merge], not [Replace].

This mod has a wild edit, follow these instructions:

Open FNVEdit through MO
Right click the list of mods and "Select None"
Now tick TAR3gun.esp and click [OK]
When FNVEdit is done loading, expand TAR3gun.esp->Weapon
Right click the 0015837B - Gauss Rifle record and select "Remove".
This plugin also needs to be cleaned with FNVEdit, so it can be kept open while performing the instructions below. Otherwise, close FNVEdit and save.

LOOT reports that a plugin from this mod needs cleaning with FNVEdit:

Automatic assault weapon for energy weapon users.

The Tesla Rifle

  • Note: This gun has an issue with the two handed rifle animation from WAR when using the ironsights, so attach the scope with the weapon. A solution will be found soon.
THOR

  • Version: v0.1
  • Installation: Get the preferred resolution, the Mid res pack main file is recommended.

Heavy weapon with ridiculous amounts of power. Way overpowered, but by the time enough money is earned to buy this from the Van Graffs it will be needed for higher level enemies. Suggest taking it to Boulder for the Death Squad.

VT-191 Murdelizer

  • Installation: This mod has a wild edit, follow these instructions:
Open FNVEdit through MO
Right click the list of mods and "Select None"
Now tick Murderlizer.esp and click [OK]
When FNVEdit is done loading, expand Murderlizer.esp->Cell
Right click the Block 1 record and select "Remove".
This plugin also needs to be cleaned with FNVEdit, so it can be kept open while performing the instructions below. Otherwise, close FNVEdit and save.

This gun is amazing. The dot sight is awesome, the texture is awesome, the effects are awesome. Very high powered, but hard to get it from HeliosONE.

Merging Instructions

There are two versions of the merging instructions because many of the weapons are placed in easy to reach places, for example in Doc Mitchell's house. There are two versions of the merging instructions, the first set (Cheat) is just merging of plugins and the second set (No Cheat) has merging of plugins and removal of the easy to get weapons.

Merging Additional Weapons Cheat
  1. Open FNVEdit through MO.
  2. Right click the list of mods and "Select None".
  3. Now tick the following mods and click [OK]:
    • AK-105 Assault Rifle NV.esp
    • Crossbow.esp
    • MCL_Pre_warXbow.esp
    • M24E1.esp
    • MasonJarMine.esp
    • MNK-RHINOgaussRevolver.esp
    • Tactical Flamer Revamp.esp
    • TAR3gun.esp
    • TeslaRifle.esp
    • R700.esp
    • NV SuperRailRifle.esp
    • THOR.esp
    • Murderlizer.esp
  4. After FNVEdit loads, right click on "AK-105 Assault Rifle NV.esp" and select "Apply Script".
    1. From the top dropdown select Merge Plugins v1.75 and click [OK].
    2. In the Merge Plugins pop up, tick "Crossbow.esp", "MCL_Pre_warXbow.esp", "M24E1.esp", "MasonJarMine.esp", "MNK-RHINOgaussRevolver.esp", "Tactical Flamer Revamp.esp", "TAR3gun.esp", "TeslaRifle.esp", "R700.esp", "NV SuperRailRifle.esp", "THOR.esp", and "Murderlizer.esp", make sure "Renumber FormIDs" is ticked, and click [OK].
      • NOTE: If all the plugins are not listed, expand the window size to show the missing plugins.
    3. In the next pop up click [OK], then give the merged plugin a name and click [OK]. SRB's Additional Weapons is recommended.
  5. Close FNVEdit and save ONLY the new plugin.
  6. The plugin now resides in the Overwrite folder, so right click and "Create Mod".
    • Name the folder "EssArrBee's Additional Weapons" and make sure it is listed right after VT-191 Murdelizer in the left pane.
  7. In the left pane of MO, double click AK-105 Assault Rifle.
  8. Now go to the "Optional ESPs" tab and move the "AK-105 Assault Rifle NV.esp" to the Optional ESPs box.
  9. Repeat step 7 and 8 with every other mod that was just merged moving each of the ESPs to the Optional ESPs box.
    • DO NOT untick any of the mods in the left pane of MO since the textures, meshes, and sounds are still needed.
Merging Additional Weapons No Cheat
  1. Open FNVEdit through MO.
  2. Right click the list of mods and "Select None".
  3. Now tick the following mods and click [OK]:
    • AK-105 Assault Rifle NV.esp
    • Crossbow.esp
    • MCL_Pre_warXbow.esp
    • M24E1.esp
    • MasonJarMine.esp
    • MNK-RHINOgaussRevolver.esp
    • Tactical Flamer Revamp.esp
    • TAR3gun.esp
    • TeslaRifle.esp
    • R700.esp
    • NV SuperRailRifle.esp
    • THOR.esp
    • Murderlizer.esp
  4. After FNVEdit loads, right click on "AK-105 Assault Rifle NV.esp" and select "Apply Script".
    1. From the top dropdown select Merge Plugins v1.75 and click [OK].
    2. In the Merge Plugins pop up, tick "Crossbow.esp", "MCL_Pre_warXbow.esp", "M24E1.esp", "MasonJarMine.esp", "MNK-RHINOgaussRevolver.esp", "Tactical Flamer Revamp.esp", "TAR3gun.esp", "TeslaRifle.esp", "R700.esp", "NV SuperRailRifle.esp", "THOR.esp", and "Murderlizer.esp", make sure "Renumber FormIDs" is ticked, and click [OK].
      • NOTE: If all the plugins are not listed, expand the window size to show the missing plugins.
    3. In the next pop up click [OK], then give the merged plugin a name and click [OK]. SRB's Additional Weapons is recommended.
  5. Close FNVEdit and save ONLY the new plugin.
  6. Reopen FNVEdit, right click the list of mods and "Select None", then select "SRB's Additional Weapons.esp" and click [OK].
    • NOTE: It was good practice to close and reopen FNVEdit for this part.
    1. Expand SRB's Additional Weapons.esp->Cell->Block 1
    2. Right click on Sub-Block 4 and select "Remove"
    3. Right click on Block 9 and select "Remove"
    4. Expand Worldspace->Block -1, 0
    5. Right click on Sub-Block 2, 0 and select "Remove"
  7. Close FNVEdit and save.
  8. The plugin now resides in the Overwrite folder, so right click and "Create Mod".
    • Name the folder "EssArrBee's Additional Weapons" and make sure it is listed right after VT-191 Murdelizer in the left pane.
  9. In the left pane of MO, double click AK-105 Assault Rifle.
  10. Now go to the "Optional ESPs" tab and move the "AK-105 Assault Rifle NV.esp" to the Optional ESPs box.
  11. Repeat step 7 and 8 with every other mod that was just merged moving each of the ESPs to the Optional ESPs box.
    • DO NOT untick any of the mods in the left pane of MO since the textures, meshes, and sounds are still needed.
