I'm a die-hard TES player and a minor modder. I did the largest amount of mod playtesting for OpenMW (the modern, open-source game engine for Morrowind). Hundreds of mods tested, plus a complete companion (follower) guide, which is mostly also of use to players of the original Bethesda engine: Darklocq's Mod Testing Notes.

Since then, I've been doing Oblivion and then Skyrim, in a Windows VM under macOS. Painful at times.

Anyway, I'm Darklocq on all the relevant forums and sites (ElderScrolls.fandom.com, UESP, Nexus, MW.ModHistory.com, etc.). Wiki-wise, I mostly focus on The Elder Scrolls Wiki at Fandom/Wikia.

On STEP[edit | edit source]

Not sure what-all I will do here yet. This site is pretty well-maintained. Last time I was on here as a "following the STEPs" user, I did encounter one error. It was something about ENB configs that no longer pertained to the then-current version of ENB nor several versions before it – it was a setting that had changed name, moved between config files, or been removed; I don't really remember. But I was in process of packing to move and doing other real-world stuff and had to put the gaming aside. I didn't get around to logging in and fixing it. Now it's two years later and I'm back, and figure the issue has probably been fixed by now, but I will deal with it if I run into it again. — Darklocq  ¢ 05:28, February 19, 2020 (UTC)
