Recommendations

Instructions are current up to v1.62 of SMIM!

Choose the Custom install option on the first window.

STEP recommends to install all options with the only exceptions being "Furniture Chests", "Lanterns" and "Xtra Options - Ultra-Sized Textures Addon" as being the only options not installed. This is due to a conflict with Detailed Chests for Furniture Chests, lanterns being a massive texture size increase and because of the extreme texture size for the Xtra Options Addon.

Where multiple choices exist STEP recommends using the following; however, it is the user's choice:

• If heavy flickering occurs with the fences, either disable or use the light version.

NOTES:

• If slow downs are experienced around docks, consider disabling Stockade 3D Ropes.
• StaticMeshImprovementMod.esp is no longer necessary due to 100% overlap with USKP. Either do not install or deactivate it.
• "StaticMeshImprovementMod-DragonbornTernFix.esp" is not needed if using one of the STEP Patches and can be disabled or deleted.
